Australian ESO Players!!

Hiya!

I'm an Aussie player, not particularly active at present but I was just wondering how many other Aussies there were around here and what server you've been playing on? I'm just curious. I only played for a couple hours yesterday, and I was on the European server. Was there a server recommended for us to play on or were we just meant pick one?

There's not a lot of us. I think (judging by PvP numbers) most Oceanics play on EP, which is stupid because it makes Oceanic prime time PvP a completely lopsided affair.

I guess us Aussies love cheap wins or something.

I've got what will be my main on NA but due to login issues earlier I gave EU a try - seemed fine there.

Perhaps one day we'll get our own server and then WE can know what it is to have prime time without staying up all night...

I'm an Aussie, and I play on both servers. Generally I prefer the EU server, because I find it much quieter and calmer.

Aussie on US, usually find US servers are better on average for MMOs as the makers and main support is also based there in most cases.

I am aussie on NA server.

Most Aussie's seem to have foolishly chosen to be EP. I myself am AD and rarely find other Aussies in PVP in my alliance, which is a shame.

Im in australia too, Have servers stablized for you guys ? Iv got 12mbps download speed and 4mb upload and its unplayable atm I tryed the EU servers too its a bit more stable for my connection but still getting hickups of random lag. Hopefully its better after their next maintenance

I've had no lag problems on the US server so far touch wood.

The biggest difference between the NA and EU megaservers for PC besides the additional 100-150ms latency is the chat channel. EU is definitely more toned down than NA.

better ping for Aussie on NA server. We used to have higher ping than average (250+), still playable on NA server.
If you're playing on EU server, u may have huge lag in Cyrodill (PVP), when usually means lot of dead.

I'm in OZ , play NA all factions 1 to V14 various builds, most evenings till late.Ping 320 usually sigh!

I live in Oz too, and lately my ping has been very bad, between 300 and 999+, it wasn't that bad before, but now the game is utterly unplayable. I play on the NA server, but I have heard the EU is even worse if you live in Australia.

Cant too addicted just spent 5+ hours in Cyrodil assaulting a fortress in a unreal avava side lol no one would budge an inch.

Forgot to mention I'm playing on XBone haha.
Next time I play, I think I'll try the NA server - had HUGE lag on the EU server (around big groups of players) when I hopped on the other day and attributed it to being launch day but stayed there because I was just happy I'd managed to even get on. Unfortunately, that had me skirting around any large groups of people for fear of the game freezing and booting me off

Yep, Aussie player here. NA Server though (Seems to run smoother than the EU server)

North American server
Mainly PvE (95% of the time)
I only do PvP to open up some useful skills (i.e. caltrops)
Let me know if any Aussies want to hang out, swap friend requests, etc.

When the game first came out it was clearer what the starter island was (because you started there). The shuffled things around a little so that people could access the bank and horses straight out. At least I believe that was their reason.

I'm an Aussie running an Aussie guild on the EU server. Since DCUO PSN has paired oceanic wth EU servers so I thought why not keep going. My guild is happy and active enough as long as we all get to do no content no one complains

Aussie here. Playing on the NA server in Daggerfall.

Levelling a healer, looking forwards to my first dungeon in 2 levels. (even if it is without dmg/heal numbers)
