General question about armor sets...

I was wondering, does your race and faction affect armor styles?

For instance, would a Nord Dragon Knight in the Daggerfall Covenant have access to different style endgame armor sets than a Nord Dragon Knight in the Ebonheart Pact? I ask because I do prefer Nord style armor, and was wondering if joining a different faction would influence the cosmetics of the armors available to me.

nope the armor apearence is not effected by either your race or faction.

They are planning on introducing faction-specific endgame PvP sets, which are supposed to look different depending on faction... likely with the Imperial City DLC when that one comes... there is some preliminary pix floating around, but like all WiP's, the end result may be a tad different

Those aside, every other armor set is available for every faction, every racial style is wearable by any race - all that remains is for you to find all the pieces of one you like for your character... if for example someone likes Nord heavy armor, they will likely keep their eyes open for a Nikulas set... browse some prominent guild kiosks, etc.

(Note - I have been collecting pieces of my characters "preferred endgame armor" where I can find them for sale even though I yet have to level them to the point where they can wear it. just to be prepared... some sets are not that easy to find after all... other sets are BoP, and thus cannot be bought, those each character will have to play for on their own when they reach V14...)
