I never played ESO on PC, so the game was brand new to me. The controller game play a lot like Skyrim which is nice. Some of the quests were a little confusing until I got use to the way the waypoint worked. After that it was smooth sailing. This is just my personal opinion, but I think walking in the game sucks. It just seems too slow. After 5hrs of walking today I upgraded to the Imperial addition to get the mount.
The voice chat is a joke, hardly anyone uses a mic. I have had a lot of random people invite me and not say anything and I have no idea what they want. Moving around in town is a little choppy. But once you get out of town its smooth sailing.
I would definitely recommend anyone on the fence to buy the game you will not be disappointed. Having said that I am waiting until I see end gameplay before I cancel my FFXIV sub. At the very least I will play both games but I am hoping to ditch my FFXIV sub.
