I just split a stack of 50 cotton into 2 stacks of 25. I deposited 25 into my bank. Exited the bank and then opened the bank back up and pulled the 25 out of the bank and into my inventory and it did stack them. However, for Starmetal and Bone it is not doing it.
Should there not be an option to combine like items into stacks like on the PC version? I know it probably should do it on it's own.
Also, since I have your attention, why is it that when you deposit items into the regular bank it asks for quantity if you have more that 1 of the same item, but when you deposit into a guild bank it does not give you the same option?

These are good details, thank you.Not sure what the answer is to your second question, but we'll check!
Your welcome. I was going to test some other items, but the game crashed on me and now I can't login due to Login Errors. But when I do, I will test a few more common items like Ore and other materials. But right now in my inventory I have 5 Starmetal of varying quantity and Bone in varying quantity that are not stacking and no ability to manual stack them.
Thanks in advance for looking into the issue and I will update as I test more stuff out on this issue.

Sounds like there may be an issue with the Bone and Starmetal materials. We'll check--curious if this is also the case on PC/Mac.

Regarding the item stacking functionality that is available on PC/Mac (dragging items on top of one another) but not on console, that is working as designed. Some functionality slightly changed between the platform versions. It is possible we'll add it in the future, but for now it's intended that players on console use the auto-stack functionality by transferring items from one inventory type to another (such as character inventory to bank.)

It COULD stack in personal BANK, but not the GUILD BANK! All items could not be stacked while you deposit into GUILD BANK! IT REALLY DRIVEED ME MAD.

Them not stacking in a Guild Bank is a good thing however. Reason for this is if everything stacked in the Guild Bank, then people that take things are taking full stacks of items. For example, I am a PC player and made a ton of Potions for my guild and new players. If it stacked, then it would of been a stack of 100 Health potions. Instead, I split the stacks into groups of 10 and placed then in the guild bank and it worked out perfectly.
However, giving us the power to stack items would be beneficial to both our personal inventory and the guild bank. So when someone deposits 1 piece of wood and another person deposits 5 and a third puts in 2, giving us the ability to stack those together would be good. For now, we need to pull them out of guild, hope it stack in our personal inventory and then re-deposit.
But ultimately, I am glad the guild bank does not auto stack for the reason mentioned above.
