Console People having lag issues and frame rate drops!

If you are one the many people having these issues on your console with ESO; I have a question for you:

Have you tried disabling all your addons and seeing if the issues persist?

With that question out of the way, I have another one:

Have you tried resetting your router and or modem and seeing if the problem still persist?

All joking aside, I couldn't help but post this :D With the videos I have been watching of consoles experiencing lag and frame rate issues (among so many other things), I felt it would be funny to see if they tried disabling their addons since that is what us PC players are ALWAYS told to do......

For those of you just joining us on this adventure called ESO (console or PC) , WELCOME TO ESO! You have a lot to look forward too.....Dig around in the forums and see how well it has been going!

Obviously they are experiencing lag and frame rate issues on day one... with millions of players trying to log on and play at the same time, I'm surprised the servers are even allowing them to log on. I'm sure these issues will subside once the mad rush to play evens out and everyone falls back into a normal playing schedule.

"it's important to state that our decision to go with subscriptions is not a referendum on online game revenue models. F2P, B2P, etc. are valid, proven business models - but subscription is the one that fits ESO the best, given our commitment to freedom of gameplay, quality and long-term content delivery. Plus, players will appreciate not having to worry about being "monetized" in the middle of playing the game, which is definitely a problem that is cropping up more and more in online gaming these days." - Matt Firor

Gotta admit,i wasn't expecting much from the console release, but having troubles keeping at 30 fps is a joke.

I think the funniest part is that people are crashing to the desktop on their consoles after getting the error message that they are sending too many chat messages on a game that has no chat

    zos failed

    It was expected.

How could there game run smoothly on a low quality pc(console) when it cant run good on my 3000$ rig due to there bad coding.

For your interest just to show how broken this game is I have about the same fps with the witcher 3 @ultra then I have with eso @high .

    TW3 is alot more detailed.

Also I have never crashe yet in about 20 hour play

In eso almost everyday I play I either crash randomly or get the infinite loading screen issue.

My Eso is installed on a SSD drive plug into a 6gbsata 3. And I monitor my drive usage and everything. When i get infinite loading screeen my SDD only worked for about 1 second and half to load in the data , then idk what happen code issue i would presume.

Eso could also use more ram but its 32 bit (we are not in 2002 wtf where is my 64 bit version)

I expected something like this with all the audio bits omitting text stuff coming through and no stress test. Let's hope they get it ironed out before reviews start releasing. (If this is a huge thing, don't know if this is a wide circumstance or not)

Besides getting maybe 6-8 fps in crowded areas, many times it will just "rubberband" u back 5 secs in time. I cant count how many times already ive had to run up or down the same set of stairs over and over again because the game keeps transporting me back 5 secs in time lol.... Ive never seen anything like it in an online game. The only hope is that this will patched up soon

*bows* ty ty :) it is funny how the one thing they said was causing our issues on pc can't be causing the issues ps4 and x1 are having lol granted it could all be caused due to server stress. We shall see

Exactly. By the way were you able to get logged on to the PS4? I saw your post in another thread about it. There's work around for it that others posted on the main logon issue thread about changing the server to the other one your not on, clicking play and then switching back and then they can get logged on.

@Gorthax Always love your "insightful" post. Keep it up!

@Molsondry Wait you have a $3000 machine that can run Witcher 3 better than ESO? I didn't even know people still crashed. I'm running with like 65 addons and that never happens; they must hate your machine.
To inform you about the loading screen problem, that is likely connected to your internet connection. The game/server can quickly tell your machine to load up necessary assets, but the rest of the time it's likely sending you the info required to show you everything in the phase. Try monitoring your in/outbound packets, to see if that's where your problem lies.
