I just want to say ZOS, that I have been on since PC launch and was so bummed the console got delayed, but was well worth the wait! I have been playing on a Mac which isn't the best gaming rig in the world and only been able to play this game at medium graphic settings at best. It is AMAZING to see this game in so much more detail on console!!
My thoughts so far: I only played for about 30 minutes before having to get to work but this is what I think so far.
Graphics - AMAZING (Again comparing to playing on an iMac, not a gaming rig) I can actually see my argonians scales now!!! I didn't think he had scales!!!
Gameplay - Took a bit to get used to the buttons but got it eventually. I am used to playing on a Razer Naga and having that free movement and all my abilities at my thumb. So it took a bit to get used to where my abilities were on the controller. Which is ironic since I am not a PC player at all. I grew up on consoles and am fully accustomed to a controller. But I guess you get used to doing something one way, even if it isn't your norm. But I am quickly getting the hang of how it all works!
UI - SO much awesome put into the UI! Very much designed with Skyrim in mind which is very familiar for us TES fans. I know a lot of add-on/stat junkies are going to be squirming playing this game, but I didn't play with any add-ons to begin with. Except the skyshard one, which I would check at the exit of each zone. But other than that, thank you for keeping a clean UI for this as well!
The one thing I struggled with and have to go back to figure out is the dye system. That is all sorts of confusing to me. I love dying my armor as does everyone else and I feel like that was made a lot more complicated than the PC version. Grant it I only spent about 2 minutes trying to play around with it and it just was not clicking with me at first. So I gave up on it and will go back to figuring it out tonight.
Voice - I can imagine the social aspect of a giant MMO on console took SO much figuring out. And i gotta say, while it was annoying listening to people screaming into the mic to yell to someone in their house instead of muting it (hint hint people who don't use the mute button), I can see now how it works. I was racking my brain before this trying to figure out how this would all work with not having a chat window. But I get it now. I just keep my mute button on until I have something I want to say. And if someone is playing bad music, or yelling a conversation across the house (peanut butter and jelly or ham and cheese?....), or having an allergy attack into the microphone, it's easy to figure out who it is and just block them

But seriously, I don't want to block you! the ESO community has been such an awesome community thus far. And (almost) everyone is super nice and helpful. It was awesome seeing in zone chat the amount of help people were giving to the new players when it went B2P. I play WoW also and you would never see that in their community in my opinion. I hope that the console community can keep the same friendly stature.
Lastly on the social front, parents beware. This is console with an open area mic. I had to cringe and occasionally laugh at some of the crap that was coming out of peoples mouths over area chat. Yes person wanting to purchase a mount. You can buy a horse from the stable and do not have to buy one from the crown store like a
{SNIP}
Social - I did not get the chance to group with anyone in my brief 30min jaunt through Glenumbra today, but I did check out the grouping tool and seems as simple as the one on PC. People just gotta use it! Everyone complains about the one on PC but the fact is, no body uses it! It would work fine if people actually used it!!! So I am guessing the grouping tool will be used way more on console since you can't spam zone chat looking for a tank for an hour. But I can definitely say group up! I am not a very social person when it comes to gaming. I have one friend on Xbox Live and 6 in the PC version of ESO. But I gotta say I have had a great time in this game teaming up with people I never met to tackle dungeons and pledge, world bosses, dolmens and the like!
Connectivity - I saw a lot of people were having issues getting on to their server. I honestly didn't have that issue. I was thrown into Tamriel just as fast as I am on my PC. I also didn't notice any lag at all with the TONS of players running around. One thing I did notice when I first logged in was all the players standing around me were just black outlines. And then a second later their features came to be and that was the only time I saw that. So not sure if that happens every time you log in or what. But wasn't a big to do. Everything ran seamlessly after that.
CONCLUSION!!! - If you are a fan of MMO's, you have a XBone or a PS4, and you are an Elder Scrolls fan.... Then I do suggest getting this and giving it a whirl. It's fun and there is so much to explore. And on top of everything, the game is gorgeous! Even on medium graphics settings, I was always blown away but the artwork put into the game. So much to see and do! And not to mention all the new content that we can look forward to this year and the coming years! Thank you ZOS for making this console gamers experience thus far fulfilled

I only hope that the majority of the other players are having as much fun with this game as I am.
