Request: Colorized map pins like (Skyrim Colored Map Markers)

I am guessing this can't be done but it would be great if someone were to make an addon that would override the black-and-white map markers. I have seen addons that add markers but never override the system markers. If it could be done then it would make identifying pins much easiers. For example, I don't know when this was added because I never noticed it before a month or two ago but the quest giver gives a map marker as well as the quest objectives now. I am now constantly heading towards a map marker thinking I need to do something there only to realize "Oh, that's a person that gave me a quest...". Thank you.
