Do you know that: You are sitting, standing or riding in the game and ask yourself: When will the groupfinder starts a group for me? And console-players ask themselfs: How should I search my group without the text-chat? How should I find a group, when I am in an other region?

We'll offer you the solution: Our new project ESO-LFG will blow your sorrows away!



What is ESO-LFG?
ESO-LFG is a collaborative project of the sites ESO-Schatzsucher.de (Chufu gro-Khash), ESO-Database.com (Keldor) and Garian Metatron on YouTube DE (Garian). We feel the passion for ESOTU, we love it and we play it since the release. While Keldor is programming this new project, Garian and I take a look for the translation to EN and FR and the moderation of the site. We are the administrators of this project and help you with any questions or problems.

You can find ESO-LFG soon on the domain www.eso-lfg.com. There you will be able to start a group with a form and you can leave a message like "answer me ingame @blablabla or answer me with a PM". We will add additional features in the near future for this project.

How can I register on this site?
You can register yourself as a new person or you can use your ESO-Skillwerkstatt.de-Account (will be translated soon in EN/FR) or you can use your ESO-Database-Account for the login, when our project goes live. We try to make yourself comfortable.

Which languages are available for ESO-LFG?
At the beginning (06/09/2015, console-launch) we will offer you the website in DE/EN/FR. If you are a native speaker of an other country, you could work with us together and we could offer more languages in the future.

When will ESO-LFG goes live?
We plan to start this project for console-launch on 06/09/2015, because almost console-player would like this project for searching and finding groups on console. But PC- and Mac-players are also invited to use the website for searching and finding other players for grouping-activities or events.

Will there be a mobile version of ESO-LFG?
Yes, all ESO-LFG-functions will be responsive, that means, that you can open this project in the browser of your mobile machines (smartphones or tablets) and use it. You can help us by telling us with the release of this project, if this project works well on your smartphone/tablet or if we should adapt it for some versions.



What about the finances of ESO-LFG?
ESO-LFG will be a privat financed project of us three (Chufu gro-Khash, Keldor and Garian Metatron). It is free to use for all of you and there will be no hidden costs, because it's a fanproject. We plan to embed some advertising into the site for finance a small amount of our costs for the project. You can help us by donating or by celebrating the project and freshen it with your group-forms and talk with your guild-mates about it. We love this project and we hope that you'll love it too!

What is the plan for the future of this project?
For the release of this project on 06/09/2015 we plan to embed the normal functions (the group-form).

But we are working on more functions for the nearer future, p. e.:

• Present yourself (your character) as a portfolio that other groupleader can find you and write you a PM or ingame message
• Private Messages for your userprofile

It's kind of sad that player might just have to go to an outside source to get a decently functioning grouping tool. That being said the MAJOR problem with the in game grouping tool is, it's broken so people don't use it, and it's broken because people don't use it , which breaks it so people don't use it, breaking it some more. See it's a very vicious downward spiral.

Thanks for doing this but interested in the outcome as this assumes the in-game grouping tools is non-functional. It worked in BETA but to be honest your best if possible to release an Xbox One app and PS4 app or smart device apps

Guess we will see how it works on Xbox one 6/9/15 as I don't plan on using a third party app to group

You should make sure we can use this for PC as well because I hate spamming just one zone for people.

Of course you can use the LFG-tool ingame.

Our project is comfortable to use, p. e. on your smartphone or your laptop while you're sitting on the couch and playing eso. It's an addition to the normal LFG-Finder ingame, because you can search groups without being in the region. I'll give you a single example: You're trading in Knurr'Kha, but you want to find a group for the aetherian archive. On PC, Mac or console, you have to travel to Craglorn and then on PC/Mac you can use the text/zone-chat for finding members or a group, but you can't trade then in Knurr'kha anymore. I think for console-players it will be harder to find a group, but it's possible of course, so as a console-player you could use it in addition to the group finder!

The forms are for PC/Mac/PS4/Xbox One, so every platform can find players for the group.

Uuuhhhmmmm OK...I just think this is really premature and more effort when on console as we have a huge friends list that shows what each person is doing real time

While this is a very awesome idea, something similar to what we had to use in Destiny, I am absolutely saddened at the fact that a player had to come up with this. Especially while the game has a built in group finder. One year after release something like a group finder should have been finely tuned and polished into a working state.

Thank you for taking your own time out to do something like this. Unfortunately with applications like this popping up I feel as though ZoS will continue to drop the ball with the built in group finder.

Please ZoS, show the same care for your game that your community does. It's absolutely sickening that you don't.

The problem is in ZOS' hard-headed use of queing for a situation where queue-based algorithms easily starve.

Deltia, in his youtube videos from the console beta, seemed that the lfg of consoles surprised him the most..he said numerous times how awesome it is and that he wish pc gets the same tool too...so i hope there wont be need for console players to rely on a third party app for proper grouping..

Our project could be an addition to the looking for group-finder ingame and the text-chat on PC/Mac. It's useful, because you can find a group without being ingame.

Example: You're sitting in the tube on your way home and you can search a group with our project. If you arrived at home, you can log in, invite the members and start playing!

I heard too, that the group-finder for console seems to be great, but with our project you can search more specific members for groups and of course for ingame-events.

Thank you for this effort. Though I tend to look towards my guilds for forming groups, this project intrigues me a great deal and I look forward to trying it out over the summer on both PC and console.

Should not be necessary when nearly every other MMORPG in existence has a functional LFG panel. Kudos on the time and effort, though it could be better spent petitioning ZoS to actually fix their game up to standard.

A guild recruitment filter will be in "soon". But it will not be a "trade-app/tool". Maybe ... there is a second project... maybe..
