How can I cure the Vampire Infection

Important: I'm not talking about vampirism, but about the infection that you need to become a vampire.
I don't know how this could happen. But I have this damn infection. I never died to Bloodfiends and never bought a vampire bite. Recently, a player from another faction was feeding on me. But they told me, players from other factions can't infect you.
I also visited the Mage's Guild in Dune, but it seems like, I have to become a true vampire to cure myself. But all this destroys my roleplay and this is making me sad
Is there a chance to cure it, without the need to become a vampire first ?

✭go to Rawl'kha and go into the mages guild there, when walking down the steps inside the Mages guild keep going straight until you see a guy straight ahead by a desk, talk to him, he can remove Vampirisim (and the Infection) and can cure Lycanthropy too.
