I would like it. I think that many hardcore gamer folks would hate it.
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
    ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

I can see the plushie being an issue, shipping costs etc. How would you feel about possibly in getting the in game pet codes from the plushies as a SUPER rare drop?

This could work but to make it even easier on the designer's what about having super rare drop pets that are just mini versions of the bosses.

Another way to show an achievement especially for trials.

Well the Item code awards you the Plushie and shipping would be your responsibility. My idea is for it to be a super rare drop. One per account, And a tangible item. Not another in game pet.

Even with the shipping cost on your side that trust me would cause insane anger if people had to pay to get a reward from a boss.

There is still the cost of making the plushies and as well as having a place to store them and keeping ontop of stock etc.

Headaches for em not sure i can see them wanting to do this.

Hero I see your point on the cost of the Plushies. As for storage they have plenty of space in their offices and hallways. Wayy more than they need. I did say super rare right like 1/15000 chance type rare. Not like 1/100 or 1/1000 but this could be the rarest of all trophies for a dungeon run!! I mean have you ever seen this done by any other company??

Miss Bizz thank you for your vote!!

I can see cost being an issue, Storage not so much an issue. An ingame pet or mini boss is a cut and paste solution done by other games. I am thinking of a Tangible thing. Something that when others see it brings positive attention to the game example below.

Gamer A. Wow where did you get that Plushie? Gamer B. I won it from Zenimax while playing Elder Scrolls Online/TU in a DSA trial.

Gamer A. Nice Im going to have to get that game.

Well @Gidorick has a chart when making a concept for ESO TU and i use it as well when making an episode of Improving On ESO.

    You may find it useful:

1: Does it make sense in the context of The Elder Scrolls?
    -YES: Continue
    -NO: Scrap Idea
2: Can it work for an MMO?
    -YES: Continue
    -NO: Scrap Idea
3: Would it remove or restrict current player functionality?
    -YES: Scrap Idea
    -NO: Continue
4: Would it add additional features for players?
    -YES: Continue
    -NO: Scrap Idea
    5: Are those features optional?
    -YES: Continue
    -NO: Reconsider Concept....
6: Can it be monetized in the Crown ?
-YES: POST IT! POST IT NOW!
    -NO: Reconsider Concept....

If we can show ZOS they can make money, then bingo! The problem is players resent other players suggesting that we have to pay for something.

Hero It passes Gidoricks chart.. Nothing is free in R/L or anywhere else. It is a tangible item it drops in addition to any other loot If they dont want it then they can delete the code. If they decide that yes they want it " its a Plushie" then they can pay for shipping. Let the Individual decide if they want it or not. As it is an Individual decision . Not group think. I do not presume to think for others or decide for others or direct others what to think or do.

You said the magic words individual decisions and you should do up an example of how it could play as its hard to get that from it. :)

I think the idea of possibly getting crowns as super rare drops might be more practical for ZOS. I could see perhaps there being a raffle type situation where players can earn raffle tickets as drops... but that's a bit meta for ESO.

We TES players like to ignore real life things while in Tamriel.

    This.

Your suggestion is interesting and inventive... but awkward?

I don't think the effort to reward translates very well.... and after your first plushie... then what? eBay?

    or

Gamer A: What is that your dog is chewing on

ME: Some stupid stuffed animal I got while wasting my time farming a helm in ESO that I never got because their stupid RNG system

Gamer A: Wow, that really sucks, glad you warned me away from that one

Note: My point isn't to be rude/offensive/trollish/whatever. Merely to point out that plenty of people could give a rip about stuffed toys, even if ESO based. Free wins during fluff Live or sales on the store are the best way to put them out there for the people that would appreciate them verses the annoyance of someone that wants nothing to do with them.
If options weren't necessary, and everyone played the same way, no one would use addons. Fix the UI!

Put in the option for players to receive it as a drop chance.

I'd be seething if I spent an evening with a group doing trials only to get a code for a stuffed toy that I'd have to possibly pay for to receive, instead of something practical or useful in game while my group mates got something either high value to sell or high value to use.

It would be more beneficial for the player base doing trials/vet dsa/end game content to have a 1:15,000 chance of dropping something from next season's gear early. Not only would it allow them and us a preview of what was coming, but it would also reward the best of the best with something possibly more powerful than existing gear.

Honestly. Its a game. You dont need a plushie, that plushie shouldnt be driving you to play that content.

This has got to be one of the more absurd threads Ive read. Real life rewards for In-Game Achievements. There needs to be an eye roll emjoi.

    Very awesome idea!

Although personally I would rather in game items, useful items, than a real life plushie. For me it would sit in the box somewhere until eventually I throw it out or give it to a friends child. Unless perhaps the item code was tradable in game. Then I wouldn't be against it at all. As one of these things could sell for quite a bit of gold to the collector types out there!

There's always an upside to every idea!
