He's talking about glyphs of 0 flame damage, gold jewelry glyphs having the same effect as white glyphs and other fun things like that.SoulSworne wrote: »

Is it to prevent people from amassing numerous stacks of glyphs and spam deconstructing them? That's the only reason I can come up with as to why they don't stack.
It's only a minor issue, but it makes inventory and bank management a pain in the backside.
I agree with your logic +1

Now to go train my flying pig .....
Not stacking because an item is 'substantial" sorta makes sense, but it's pretzel logic. If identical items can be stacked in smithing menus, why not inventory as well? And this doesn't explain why potions and food/drinks only stack to 100. The only reason I can think of why equipment and items like siege weapons can't be stacked is because they change/degrade with use and sorting them from identical but unused items adds a layer of complexity. There seem to be obvious areas that could have stacked, but were untouched by 1.6 patch. I expect to see some inventory improvement items in the crown store at some point, and the stacking issues pointed to in this thread are part of the plan to drive crown store sales. This is what was done with riding lessons. Do you think it was an accident it takes 6 months to train a mount without lessons?I actually asked this back in the early days when enchanting took a long long time to level up, and I got the response from CS saying that it is because it can be crafted and treated like an armor/weapon (read: something substantial). Earlier posts from this thread highlighted this, and it DOES makes sense. You don't see your crafted armor stacking (unless it's on deconstructed window), so I don't expect my crafted glyphs to stack. Just the way it is. Now if I could only find that correspondence...... would be very helpful for this specific thread.
