I'm assuming this will be your first MMORPG launch. Good luck with that.

I just have this gut feeling that the console launch and in general will be a flop. I can't help it, but it's there...

I'm braced for the forum floodgates of tears and moans (and maybe groans) to be opened. Not nearly enough testing (LIVE testing) has been done in my opinion. But hey, i hope i'm wrong.

In the meantime, i'll just kick back and relax on my electric reclining sofa with cheese (hopefully stilton and lots of it) and mountain dew and play on my 50-incher at 80-120 FPS with full chat support and ultra settings with GemFX (thanks to whoever showed it to me) and few other dozen addons because.... Video games.. And..



And obviously...

Monday is the day before Launch on Consoles for Australians, as Monday the 8th, we tick over from 23:59 to 00:00 and start playing ESO.

I am not a betting man, but if I would put money on one off the following scenarios in Cyridiil.....

1) The servers will be so unstable that Cyridiil will be unplayable and the new console players cry into their soup and try to return the game.

2) A horde of 40 level 10 new console players in light armor try to take a keep only to knock down the inner wall and be faced with one V14 400 CP super badass who has been patiently waiting for them, runs out and wipes them all, tea bags, their corpses, is payed exactly one gabillion AP for it, and than buys the entire economy with the proceeds he gets from selling the blue bags he buys. He than posts it all on YouTube and the console players cry into their soup about balance or something.

I would put the money on #1 though I would be far more amused by #2.
