Black Market Mogul Achievement!

The Black Market Mogul Achievement is Killing me. Its the last Legerdemain/Justice Achievement I need to get but its earn 1 MILLION gold through legerdemain. I have to say I think that this is WAY to much as you can only earn on average maybe 18k a day through about 45 minutes to an hour of grinding. Of course even if you had a full inventory of all Blues your only pushing about 37k a day as well. Im curious if anyone has figured out a good grind or something more that can help me reach this 1 million faster. Because at this point, i've completed almost everything in the game. I have under 25 achievements left in the entire thing and I have to say this is just to much. I would understand maybe 250k something actually obtainable.

✭I was on my way to get this achievement since I love this dye, but I was also levelling this skill line with 7 of 8 characters, I had enough when my main hit max (skill at 20), and the other characters are not far from max as well. No achievement there btw, and no dye, then I was pissed and didn't bother to continue.
Now I only steal a few things I find during quests or whereever, I gave up doing my daily routes a while ago already since it just takes WAAYY too long to get the Black Market Mogul achievement.

GaldorP✭✭✭✭✭I always did a mix of containers and safeboxes (and some pickpocketing). Only sold green or better items. That took me about 1.5 hours per day and I got an average of about 22-23k gold from it when I sold the items to fences.
Never got a single blue or purple item from murdering NPCs so no idea how that strategy works (apart from giving you a huge bounty I suppose?).1 -

✭Why the rush? Honestly that achievement is a time sink and it is fine as it is. If you really want it, you need to be dedicated to farm each day to fill your daily fence limit, rinse and repeat. At the very least there is a plausible end to the achievement. I am working on it myself, and I don't mind working on it towards the next month.2 -
mikifox✭Well I have been working on this achievement as well, though I'm enjoying the thievery a good bit and it's not a "Finish line" sort of achievement to me. I'll get it when I get it, as for where I pillage, I do King Emeric's castle. Taking only green quality and up I get a good 25k on average per day with the added benefit of getting rare motifs! (even landed an Imperial motif once!). Just put on some of your favorite music (cause Sithis knows the dialogue from Queen Maraya will drive you insane if you don't mute audio) and go about the pillaging rampage!0 -
JacksonCarter13✭✭✭So through a little more testing honestly seems to be pick-pocketing may be the best in locations with a ton of npc's. Run around loot everyone and ditch all the whites. Not to slow honestly either with level 20 legerdemain. Does anyone know of any good locations to pickpocket with tons of npc's in the Ebonheart Pact territory?0

✭✭✭✭That achievement was actually quite easy, compared to some other stuff (Fishing & Collectibles). I got it over a month ago :P
How to get it relatively quick:- Only fence items of green quality or better
- Run around Riften or Windhelm & learn where the boxes spawn. Open boxes, repeat every day until you get the achievement.

✭✭✭The only thing I don't like about thieving is the fact Bosmer and Khajiit are the only races with Stealthy, which makes being a thief VASTLY easier as either of those two races. (I also think at the very least this trait or something similar should be given to argonians). Earning the mogul achievement is obviously for dedicated thieves. JacksonCarter13✭✭✭Guys thank for all the help. Im done with the achievement i maxes out at 35k per day in about 2 hours ish maybe a little more. Made about 1.7 mil and actually grew to love it! thanks for all your help amazing dye couldnt be happier
