Guild History UNIT SFODD began as a Platoon in the FPS game Medal of Honor: Warfighter in October 2012. Since then UNIT has been represented in Battlefield 3, Battlefield 4, BF Hardline, and numerous other games. While UNIT has been primarily an FPS Guild, ESO will be the first time UNIT will gather in an MMO. And because of this the Guild will be establishing itself under a different name with different ranks and structure within ESO. Anyone joining UNIT will be invited to join us in any game we may seek to expand into in the future.
Guild Purpose will be to provide its members an opportunity to take part primarily in PvP and PvE (Dungeons/Pledges/Achievements) with similarly like minded players seeking others to play with and access content that may otherwise be out of reach on their own. And of course to provide its members a community to be apart of. The Guild hopes to become primarily a PvP Guild and is actively looking for members to fill the ranks.

Herse as the Leader the Herse will provide the Guild direction and have authority over issues that may require emergency action.
Steward Will be in charge of leading the Guild when the Herse is not available as well as lead any Guild Meetings be it Closed Council Meetings or Open Guild Meetings. The Steward will also provide a Tie-Breaker vote when the Council can not come to a decision on its own.
Karls The Karls will each have a primary task within the Guild while also operating as the Guild Governing body voting on anything from banishing members to establishing Guild Laws and tackling issues facing the Guild.
Envoy - Performing the task of reaching out to other Guilds and establishing ties within the PS4 ESO Community. Be it other EP Guilds or possibly Guilds looking for direct PvP gameplay from DC and AD communities. The Envoys job will be to act as a liason from UNIT to other Guilds and making the necessary connections for PvE or PvP Events and Guild Relations. (Envoy is a Title and not an actual Rank)
Treasurer - The Treasurer will oversee and police the Guild Bank ensuring theft is reported. The Treasurer will also be the final Authority over Non-Active and Non-Participating Guild Members. They will also be responsible for vetting anyone applying for the Frimagr Title. (Treasurer is a Title and not an actual Rank)
General - The General is the Karl in charge of PvP and overseeing any Guild sponsored PvP Events. The General will also be incharge of coordinating with other Guilds, once the Envoy has put them in touch with him/her, for Cross-Guild PvP Events. (General is a Title and not an actual Rank)
Explorer - The Explorer will be in charge of PvE and organizing Guild/Cross Guild PvE Events ranging from World Boss Hunting/Achievement Hunting to Delve and Dungeon Runs. This will include Cyrodiil PvE. (Explorer is a Title and not an actual Rank)
Housecarl Will be assistants to the Herse, Stewards and Karls. Assisting them in their daily duties and providing assistance to Guild members in general where it is needed. The Herse, Steward and Karls will each have their own Housecarl.
Raoningar Will be the Guilds Community Liason reaching out and attempting to bring in new guild members. It will be the Raoningars job to bring newcomers (thralls) up to speed on the Guilds Rules and Expectations. The Raoningar will answer directly to the Steward.
High Thegn Will be the Leader of one of multiple Clans*. The job of the High Thegn will primarily be to organize internal minor guild events, be it PvE or PvP, open to anyone within the guild or out. They will also perform the task of checking their Clan members activity. Taking note of whether the player has given the Guild a heads up of their absence or not and then requesting the Treasurers approval to dismiss inactive members if necessary.
Frimagr The Frimagr will be Guild Approved Craftsmen. Individuals who have leveled up their professions and seek to provide the Guild an assortment of items. These individuals will need to be vetted by the Treasurer to ensure the Frimagr are at the very least providing the Guild with items at a fair asking price (Cost of Time and Construction). Anyone from Drengr upwards may become a Frimagr and as long as the individual does not hold a primary position within the Guild (High Thegn/Raoningar/Karl etc) then they will be given the rank of Frimagr.
Thegn As a Veteran member of the Guild. Thegns will act as Clan Executive Officers assisting their High Thegns with their duties. There is no limit on how many may hold the rank of Thegn in any Clan as its simply a Veteran Rank and only holds authority if tapped as the Clan XO. Thegns will be expected to help newer members. Only by showing an interest in Guild Activities and assisting other Guild members will one obtain the rank of Thegn.
Drengr This rank is the second lowest rank in the Guild and will be held by most members after completing their probationary time as a Thrall. While there are no expectations beyond following the Guild Rules and staying active anyone seeking to move up the ranks after this will be required to show interest and effort in doing so. If a Drengr becomes inactive and booted from the Guild. The Drengr may retain their rank immediately after re-applying but only after 3 months of Activity before being booted.
Thrall As the newcomer this rank will be reserved for those who have yet to complete the probationary period. They will have very little access to the Guild Bank and be expected to stay active during this period. No LOAs will be permitted for Thralls. Anyone going inactive at this rank will have to re-apply to the Guild once becoming active again and begin the process from scratch.
Clans The number of Clans will depend heavily on the size of the Guild. And may be organized at some point dependent on members interests (PvP centric Players with PvP Centric Clans, etc) While you will not be forced to play with whatever Clan you are assigned too. The purpose of Clans will be to.
1.) Provide the Guild Leaders a means of tracking Guild members activity.
2.) Providing members a group of players they can immediately reach out to to play with dependent on their interests.
The Guild is willing and capable of expanding its purpose if at a future time its members become interested in doing so.
