Hi as the title says, i want to know what will be the players cap on xbox one in the world and for pvp

    I suspect it will be instanced in much the same way it is on PC, including separate pop-locked campaigns.

    Like I said in another thread - I will stress test the PS4 edition of ESOTU. One of the items will offcourse be Cyrodiil PvP. For some reason or another I cannot believe that they will have magically solved the lag issue for the PS4 version when comparing to PC. A PS4 is basically a weak PC. If they solved it, then the next question is "how". One of the ways might be to reduce the pop lock significantly. I do not consider that as a fix though.

    So to your question - I hope it's the same as PC but I doubt anyone knows at this stage. You might ask them when they will be running the PS4 demo on Thursday.

    It will be locked to the first 4 players simultaneously. With hours of queing at best, so wait more than 20 minutes before someone answers your question.

    @Caesar Tantalia Well, it might be easier to solve on PS4 and Xbox1 than on a server that is meant for any type of machine.
    all PS4s are equal and have the same components and will always behave the same. Same can be said for the Xbox1. Whereas for PC/mac you need to account for all differences between clients. So it might be easier to manage how things are sent/recieved on PS4 and Xbox megaserver rather than PCs... note that lag is server in ESO, so it doesnt matter if PS4 is weaker than "some" pcs, since client has lower impact... (that is unless you start streaming and have 2k torrents subbing on the same time)

    Also not sure why people always think a Xbox and PS4 is weaker so it can't work any better than a PC. The OS and how it handles the information is a huge thing as well other than pure processor power and memory.

    Also one of the reasons why ESO can easily surpass the PC/MAC version is because of the singular system setup like someone else said. Face it there is a huge benefit to a console mostly being it should just work.

    On the Xbox One store page, it says 1-200 players with Xbox Live Gold. It's safe to assume that means a per zone limit, but I am not sure if that's the actual accurate number or just Microsoft's way of saying "a lot" though.

    I think the 1-200 is the cap per alliance in pvp as defiance on 360 was 2-1000

    The per megaserver zone-instance limit was stated as 300 players over a year ago in a pre-release video at a gaming convention but that was not a platform specific statement.
    End the tedious inventory management game.
