As ludicrous as a pet build sounds, it does look like a lot of fun. Dat Soul Assault though, I miss them.

Yeah that Twilight attack goes through dodge roll and sadly it damn near insta-gibbed my VR1 Nightblade. 4K+ attacks that are unavoidable is surprising when you're not expecting it.

Welcome to what Flame Lash and Concealed Blade does to Dodge users, and why a lot of DKs are going Magicka now...5k Damage Attacks doesn't seem like a lot, till ya realize that most Stamina Users are running Drink and have like 18k Health.

Well it is a little different when you're unaware of it being dodgeable. DKs sticking to you spamming flame lash I'm used to.
Those pets though...the build looks dreadfully boring but killing someone with a pet is priceless.
Still with overload exploit?

so, I did a little napkin math, which seems to tell me that you would need something in the ballpark of 47-50k Max Magicka to reach the damage numbers seen in that video.
Either that, or there is some other way then Max Magicka, "daedric prey" and "Empowered Ward" to buff pet-damage which I don't know about.
Any theorycrafter willing to share some ideas how to reach those numbers?
I can see reaching ~39.5k on my Orc-sorc ==> so ~43-44k on an actuall magicka race - which I believe still leaves me short a buff somewhere.... (Got 5 x necropotence, 2 x whatever with max magicka armor, 2x whatever with max magica jewelry, and Masters staff. Mage mundus, obviously)

No you don't. You need 33k which seems to be what he has if you watch the video.
However with a Breton or High Elf and overload exploit you can easily push over 40. Not that it's needed though and in fact it's not optimal. You're perfectly fine at ~35k and the rest needs to be regen so that you can strak and survive 1vX situations.
In duel builds (especially fighting against magicka builds) you can use harness magicka and you don't need to invest in regen almost at all. Thus 40k is entirely viable in that particular scenario.

Not only are you branching out from 95% of sorcs, you're pulling it off!
Great video!
whats kinda ironic is that I used the twilight alot before 1.6, but once they where "buffed" pets I dropped it. Mostly because of the dumb AI and control of it, and the fact that its one shotted in cyrodiil by most ppl and you cant refresh hard ward on it like you can on yourself. And you loose an active slot on both your bars, wich is boring:)
