transfer to console

When the console editions come out are we able to transfer our pc accounts and characters over to the xbox one or do we just get the game for 20 dollars and have to start fresh? I opted in for the $20 but am slightly confused about what will happen when the game comes out. Thanks for any help in advance!

As far as I know the window to qualify for PC->console transfers closed some time ago, if I'm right in that then you'll have to start afresh on the console server.

Yes the characters their inventory and (personal, not guild) bank contents are copied.

You should have already gotten an email from Zenimax telling you that the copy will be done this coming Monday.
