As many know or should know, Argonain "hair style" comes in two flavors: Fins and Horrns. How do you RP (or just general play if you are not into RP) your Argonain char in terms of him or her wearing head-wear if they have horns? Do you play with the "helm off" option in the game settings?

To change gears slightly, if one can see a real life Agronian, do you think that they really wear head gear? (step out side of the video game world and think in RL terms -- how would a human sized lizard-human like look like and what will they wear on their heads?)

I think a lizard would just make holes for its horns much like the Skyrim Mod Horns are Forever.

Notice in the second picture, the horns poke through but the feather do not. No special remodeling need to be done... just let the horns poke through. Same for Bosmer horns.

horns are splayed, holes would only work for stretchy material, slits in the head gear would be required for the more 'extroverted' genealogies.
    inb4 its only a game ;)

I disagree... I think just allowing them to clip through would be enough. No remodeling of the headgear would be required.

lol i was mostly being facile. I agree that it is Always super annoying in Any game when coverings destroy the shape of your character.

I have the "helm off" option on. Need to show Tamriel my beautiful horns.

That's great for hoods, but what about helms? It's not like you can find a cordless drill of stamina to poke a hole through the metal.

You turn the Argonian upside down and dunk his head into the molten metal, letting it form around his horns, then buff out the rough spots... ;)

If you look at the dragonscale and dragonbone helmets in Skyrim, the whole backside of it is missing on Argonians. You'd pretty much have to do something like that to work with the horns. Perhaps some kind of scale or chain mail could be used to protect the opening.

Honestly, I think just having the horns poke through would be alright for helms also. It's not like you see the helm OFF the argonian so... it just has holes.

I fully support this. Argonians should be able to keep their horns on while wearing helmets or hoods!

I mean, I guess mine are detachable, but I don't like taking them off.

Some of my characters play with the "helm off" option, other display their helms. My argonians always use the "helm off" option. I want their horns or fins to be on full display for the world to see!
