Just seen an advert for console release in the UK.

Were there any ads for PC release??

There were for Tamriel Unlimited and also when Vikings were on History channel as Zenimax sponsors them.

There were tons of posters at the gamestops i went to since PCs beta. Wish I got one when they were taking them down XD.

I remember a lot of web ads for PC.

I think there were a few on channels / at time M games could be on TV.. I swear I saw an ad watching Archer... but I can't be sure of it now.

The add in the states were few as most of the publicity was through conventions. On PC's I think they the majority of their player base was well aware of the arrival long before launch. Consoles not so much. Plus they have to re-hype their game now due to delays.

There were a ton of TV ads for the PC release last year. So far, the only ads I've seen for the console release have been a couple of promo videos on the web. And no one, and I mean NO ONE, is talking about the console release on any of the gaming podcasts. If I wasn't on these forums, I doubt I would even know about it.

Why not to hit EA's Origin, SWTOR's makes sure theres MMO players plenty.

I'm 99% sure I'ver seen a couple of some weird Sky channels.

What really gets my goat though....and this is across all companies/platforms....is that all the trailers they show these days look awesome with the Caveat "Not actual game play footage".

I mean, come on guys, it's almost like you're saying "we used CGi to make it look far better than it actually is and we know it".

Still, all in, hope the Console sales goes well
