It's not back, it's been around. It's just there aren't that many any more, many went to play sorc and nightblade, others went stamina.

Yeah I'm using 3 piece Pact/Dominion/Covenant (Reduces Ult Cost by 10%) and former emperor passive.

Fun isn't it :P I tried stamina..lasted altogether maybe an hour, just doesn't have the fun factor for me. Nirnhoned is frustrating but it'll get fixed and I think many who are nirnhoned stacked will melt because they're used to having OP resists.

Oh, and I'd like to welcome you to the dark side, I've always enjoyed my Vampire Dragon Lord.

If DKs had a reliable escape skill they might be still good. Like for smaller encounters it works against less skilled players. But you get overwhelmed quite easily and when there are some templars around or your enemies even have a bit survivability you will just not kill anything. And once there are some people on you, its nearly impossible to disengage and take them one by one. Mistform is working in XvX situations, but in 1vX situations where the enemies chase you, it is not possible to actually get away with it as you'll get rooted, snared, etc. So I usually find myself getting feared + jesus beamed to death without killing anyone.

However I don't want to turn this into a DK QQ thread wish you good luck and much fun with your magicka Dk.

Glad to see you back on your DK. The class could use some encouragement.

To me it seemed like a lot of the turn arounds (@15sec)and clutch timing (misting from view of the zerg at the flag) in that video came from being a vampire and not so much straight DK. The parts in between that, are fantastic, so I don't want to diminish that, just pointing out that the highlights came from the vampline.

Even after watching this and knowing in my heart I should, I will NEVER run Mist Form even though I am a vamp, I hate running away. Until Banner costs less, I'll just stay vamp and use Devouring Swarm or something. :P

I prefer manoeuver+run to mistform to escape. Mist form is not fast enough. With luck and thanks to vamp speed stealth you can loose your oponents.

Mistform is also good to mitigate jesus beam when you aren't close enough to bash the fool's head

In open field mass pvp, mag DK is a blast. Destro + scale = mass killing and no death from range. 1/S + bat = dive for the kill and out.
Stam DK is a joke compared.

Pity every skill doesn't have 2 Magicka and 2 Stamina morphs.

I played a Magicka DK on kiddie campaign for about 3 weeks. Feels like the old days.
So much AP from reflected attacks.

Becomes a storage alt at VR1 though.

It's because magicka dk is more fun then stamina dk, stamina dk is so bloody boring and pushed into wrecking blow spam usually.

Sorry to tell you, but @Juraigr quit ESO like one or two weeks ago because of ZOS literally doing nothing for PvP and ESO 1.6/2.0 destroyed many parts of ESO PvP for him.

PS: Magicka DK can't be back as it was never gone
