No More Petspam

No more pets, at least inside buildings (e.g. bank and tavern full of crazy things) would be huge improvement.

Those things should auto "put away" or guards should not like you if you walk around leading Daedra around the city.

I doubt they will eliminate the useful pets from banks and such especially since one can enter combat in those areas.

If you brought pets into my bank, I'd have you thrown out by a big Orc!

At least the summoned pets aren't "solid" anymore. There was a period of time when these pets registered like NPCs and you couldn't walk through them. Had a clanfear blocking the exit to the Riften Bank, once. Had to jump on the counter and then activate the door.

Also, they used to appear when you went into the bank menu. It was really annoying/distracting to see flapping wings while you're trying to look at your bank inventory. At least now, they disappear from view most of the time. I still occasionally see a pet or two when in the bank menu, but it's so much less often than before.

Still think it's rude to drag your pets all over town, but with the Justice System, I guess there is a reason now to keep them summoned rather than just simple laziness.

The only pet that annoys me is the Winged Twilight. It even annoys my sorcerer and she is the one who summons them.

Since non sorc pets do nothing, allow players to 'hide' them, so I don't have to see them.

We need a few more 'hide' options

Hide Helm (already here, but the others options below need to be in the same menu)
    Hide Shoulders
Hide All pets (so you see none except sorc pets, since they do combat stuff)

As a sorc, I do try to be considerate and dismiss them every time I enter town, or at the very least, when I'm in a building like the bank. I don't bring my horse in, why should I bring my daedric death monsters in? It's very easy to forget, though, as I'm so used to them following me everywhere.

What I wish they would do is, out of combat situations, have them shrink to cat size or something, and blow up to normal size when violence is required. If anything, it'd be adorable and squee-worthy to have a tiny twilight perched on my shoulders as I'm wandering town.

I strongly disagree with the hiding things you are actively using. It just doesn't make any sense or have any root in sense. Gaining armor without it being visible just really bothers me. My chars who don't want to wear shoulder pads don't wear them because they don't like them or think they need them. That makes for real choices.

For pets and horses, the idea of it is that you tied the animal up outside. That's at least rooted in sense.

And the hip armour thingie. I want to hide them, but running around with no pants is not a solution.

It would be nice to have a function we could bind to a key that toggled our selected pet on and off. It's not too difficult to open up the collections tab, go to the pets section, right click on the pet and choose put away. But that is 4 steps that might not be viable in the thick of things.

We can already toggle our Summoned Sorcerer Pets. That's easy.

But then people would cheat when we do pants-less PVP (PPVP as we call it) as they would still be wearing pants just hidden.

Naken dolmen runs (your allowed to keep a weapon, but anything else is not allowed) and pants-less PVP is less fun if its just a hidden toggle instead of really having the armor missing.

If you mean the tassets, they're attached to the chest armor, not pants. But I agree.. I wish we could hide these huge things. Tassets, flaps and shoulder parts.

And to get back to the topic, also hide the pets or finally get them automatically unsummoned when entering a town. I just come from Shornhelm (before the game crashed and I ended up here), and again there was a player in that small bank having the damn Twilight activated. He or she was standing there for at least 10 minutes, and when I wanted to exit the bank, I had trouble to click on the door since this stupid flutterthing blocked the way, like always and everywhere.

They should auto-dismiss on entering banks and friendly town buildings. If you enter combat (guards attack or you stabbystabby innocents) they auto-summon back. So they are techincally summoned the whole time and active, but not visible outside combat in friendly buildings.

    Maybe a good compromise.
