Group Icon Diversity

There are many improvements that I hope to see with group management in the future, but for now I would love to see some group icon diversity. At the moment a single different icon (the leader crown) really isn't that helpful. In fact I find that many groups don't even use that icon for the person leading the group; since it's the only one that looks different.
I would love to see the option to allow players to select an icon for group members or even use the icon that is used for their selected role. Though this wouldn't help the upcoming console players, even opening it up the the add-on community would help immensely.
Really anything to help me quickly find a dead healer among 5 other dead players, or even having multiple leader icons for a large group.

I like this idea.

I think the best approach would be to simply create a bunch of different icons (down arrow like we have now, up arrow, circle, crown, star, cross, etc.), maybe add the option to change the colour and then let players decide how to use them.

That saves ZOS trying to anticipate every role a group may want to label and what to associate with it and avoids frustrating people who are still left without the option they want.

The options can be tailored to the groups needs. Maybe one group will decide circles mean tanks, stars are healers and arrows are DPS, another might decide stars are sub-leaders and colour code them depending on their role, or whatever works. If they don't need that level of detail they can just stick with the default.

What an awesome and elegant idea. I do think , however, that either the Group Leader should select the icons or each player be able to set their own icon.

I would like to see the icons beside the player's health bars on the left of the screen. When healing it's difficult to see the little blue bars over the player's head, and the more easily visible bars allow me no way to connect who's injured to their location on the battlefield.

Personally I don't care who sets the icons, just as long as each player has their own unique icon, which is easily visible
