Electoplasmic Discharge Trophy Item

Just wondering if anybody has got the Electoplasmic Discharge lately? I been farming for it for the past few days for several hours and no luck.
The Fleshy Symbiont trophy item is glitch and they are working to fix that one so who knows what other trophy items are broken maybe. Also I realize full well that these items are extremely rare but I have gotten most of mine within about 3 hours or so of farming for them.

SeñorCinco✭✭✭✭Do the trophy tagged items have any in game merit? IIRC, they were just something to sell. I didn't know if there was any particular reason to keep them.Words contained in posts, at which point I stop reading and will not respond...

Yes, you use them and when you finish with getting all the trophy items for that category you unlock a dye.

Use them? I'm sorry, I don't follow.
I understand the achievement and reward, but surely you don't have them taking up valuable inventory space to reap those spoils. Aren't the trophy items simply tracked to allow one to sell in lieu of collecting?
... or do they yield some sort of passive or hidden ability if they are maintained in your inventory?

They are used and a record is kept in your journal.

I've spent a handful of minutes farming certain collectibles and literal days farming others, it's all RNG. Like, I've been trying to find a place with a lot of wraiths and came across a few areas, after farming for about 36 hours in total I have enough chattering skulls to start a small nation, but no actual wraith collectible.

They always seem to be mixed in with other stuff.

I have not gotten to the wraiths yet. Sounds like a bad one. The other day I got the one from lurchers after the 3rd kill and I was not even farming them! O.o I was SERIOUSLY lucky but I know what you mean about the damn skulls though. Its been the same for as well on those. They drop like crazy.

Belated response, I've been mostly farming Vahtacen and being EP I've gone to Westtry, but found it quite lacklustre, the respawn rate meant I was sitting around half the time whereas with the alternative I'm constantly killing something.
I think my record was killing 2 wisps after spending 16 hours farming bears for their collectible.. RNG is so silly sometimes.

I have used 4 different alts just for farming trophy items I missed on my main. lmao...my main is in a VR3 level area and its VR7 atm and climbing. ^^
