FIX Cyrodiil Lag NOW PLEASE

Pleeeeaaaaaaaase pleeeeeeease pleeeeeeeeeeeeease for the love of this game fix the lag in PvP! We've had to complain for more than a few months about this and nothing has been fixed. I for one, am very frustrated. I have had enough of Veteran PvE and i want to play PvP but i cant because of the LAG.

We don't care if you have to unleash multiple patches every day to test for a SOLUTION. We don't care if you have to shut down the game for a few days to RESOLVE the problem. Just get your team, sit yourselves down in a room, lock yourselves up, find the problem, fix it, then come out being proud of what you've finally accomplished, and being proud that you could make us happy. You're not going to achieve anything by not taking risks, and these risks involve testing for the solution. It needs to happen, now! If this isn't fixed soon (by soon i mean in the next couple of months - make that by the end of this month actually) then i will be furious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The PvP in this game would be the ultimate content if only it were playable, it would attract more players (therefore more crown purchases and money for you - as we all know you like) and the community would be a whole lot more relaxed about the situation. Please please please just do it, I'm asking this of you, just put hours and hours of hard work into it to get rid of the lag. I understand this is not an easy task, but difficult tasks don't just clear themselves up, you have to set your minds to this and fix it!!!! Please, I've had this game since launch and have had to play alongside this problem.

Please fix this problem, it would make a lot of things better for me

So they have said all focus is on the console release then i would expect the first month or so of the console launch they will be fixing any problems that pop up console side. Then and only then you will see dlc and a fix for the pvp lag.

I'm afraid console players are going to experience the same issues as in the PC version.

It's beyond me how a franchise of this size doesn't have a seperate development team for console and PC. Near completely neglect one platform to focus on another platform due to lack of developers? Seems anti-productive.

Either way, PvP needs some serious work. Bugs have gone unfixed for far too long at this point. If the sole reason is due to console release taking most of the developers time, that's really no excuse. Poor business decisions and management.

Won't be surprised if this gets moderated by ZoS as speaking poorly of them, which is against the code of conduct. Realistically it's not speaking poorly, it's speaking the truth.

The lag fix will happen as a DLC you can pay for after the console version is released, and that DLC will just remove Cyrodiil from the map.

nah they screwed their own game with cosmetic patches in 1.2.something and the anti botting code was added around the same time, so it was one or both. Before then, it ran great with tons of people on screen and using AoE.

Console client program got less chance to be hacked, and a lot of tasks can be done on client side like weapon swap, skills....

PC client is always exposed to hack and mod, and a lot of things will have to be handled by the server.

Like pressing a skill button, PC client tell server #1 is pressed and server will check what is stored in slot 1, previous skill CD, and come back say #1 is whatever skill-A, allow or dis-allow to be executed.

On console side, the client can do most things and just send skill-A to server.


I think console is likely to be better than PC version.
