Walk up to the left side of the left postern door at an outpost, aim into the door & use ambush when it lights up.

If ZOS doesn't fix it or make an announcement that it's not allowed/intended, then we can only assume it's part of the game. Either use it, or be subject to those who do. Complaining about it won't stop anyone from doing it.

They have already posted that it is an exploit. Continue and you can be banned if it wasnt zos in charge.

Hey everyone. We just want to point out that the use of Teleport Strike to enter the enemy keep shown in this video (that is, using it on an enemy as they enter a keep, so that the caster ends up on the inside of the keep with the enemy) is a bug. We are in the process of investigating a solution.

Ah, it is not like leap then? I assumed that being a 'teleport' it would be useable. Is it fair to use it until patch? Or just avoid doing it from now?
Since this is not intended functionality, continued use of this would be considered an exploit, so please refrain from doing so. Ultimately, any method of entering an enemy keep without breaking down the door is considered an exploit. Thanks for checking!

There you have it folks. Officially an exploit, you're now on the honor system!

ZOS has said quite a few times that getting inside a keep or an outpost without breaking down the walls is an exploit. your "method" does just that; gets inside the keep/outpost without breaking down one of the walls. It is an exploit, and should be treated as such.

stop defending it. It is crap and you know it

Thanks for the link, I wasn't aware they had ever commented on this. I edited my post to remove the part explaining how to do it.

the fact you are defending it, AND trying to tell others how to do it, honestly, disgusts me.

What disgusts me is how ZOS just simply does nothing as far as fixing these exploits.

If ZOS is going to leave these exploits in for so long everyone should be aware of these exploits, and how they work. I don't use this exploit myself, I've done it to see how it works, but it's not that much fun in my opinion. But I don't hold it against anyone who does use it. It's not the players responsibility to police themselves, it's not even in our power. The only thing we can do is inform other players about these exploits and let it work itself out. Either the players will complain so much ZOS won't be able to ignore it, or players will adapt to the new "strategy" and it will become much less exploitable.

If I found a glitch tomorrow that nobody knew about, I would report it to ZOS and I wouldn't spread it around, but something like this that has been persisting in the game over so many patches, I don't really care anymore and I think informing players is the best option for such a widespread exploit.

Declaring it as an exploit is just not enough. Zos should fix this as soon as possible. NBs can commit this by accident. I mean, if you ambushed an enemy while he is about to enter the keep door will eventually bring you inside the keep with him. Ambush is a common NB skill and i'm sure a lot of NBs can commit this without any intention of cheating. They just want to kill their opponent (by ambush) before he enters his keep to hide without any intention of entering the enemy's keep. Its a legitimate act with an illegitimate consequence. Not fair for NBs to be called as cheaters because of Zos mistake.

So, just the other night at Nikel on blackwater there was 1 x DC and 1 x EP who were friends in the otherwise AD occupied Nikel, with one AD running up and down the stairs, going batcrap crazy, they got in via the exploit (I'm not explaining how it's done because more will do it, but you can get into to nikel easy enough with the walls up)

I didn't know the AD player, but I knew the other two regulars. Both of which should know better I might add, anyway I messaged the DC one and the reply was, don't worry, we aren't trying to take nikel, we are just upsetting the AD player for fun.

They honestly thought it was funny, which is a shame as they are both veteran players, the EP one recently was Emp on blackwater with her Alt.

Guys, and you know who you are. I've fought you on the battle field and I had respect for you both, but now I have none. Honestly, if you guys are getting a rise out of playing like that, then you deserve no respect from anyone.

Been here since Feb 2014 - You'd think I'd be half reasonable at this game by now...

    This right here.....

ZOS spent the time and effort to re-brand and re-release their product, not only to renew some hype with the PC crowd, but also to lure in more box sales for consoles. No small amount of work, and monetary investment, yet they can't be bothered to spend the time to look into simple problems like this. This exploit is the poster child of an example where new and returning players will find themselves immediately turned off and away from this game's PvP environment, which, make zero mistake about it, is just about the only viable 'end game' component of this title.

So it sounds like the glitchy skill has been identified as ambush, and possibly others.

A while ago, dk's could chain enemies into keeps for faster emp farms. It seems that skill was identified as exploitable and fixed. Why has the issue with this skill not been addressed? I just don't understand how something like this could be ignored for so long. Things like this just cheapen the game and the challenge of PVP.

This exploit is so easy to do that it HAS to be on their patch radar.

But declaration or not, if I keep seeing the same names do this night after night even though I've reported them then what's good for the goose....
