NightBlades are seriously overpowered

despite many of you trying to downplay the class it is in fact ridiculously op. I'm just going to edit the original post to answer some of the nay sayers here in this thread that are trying to downplay the class and call this a "joke thread"
here's why.
master assassin - increase weapon damage and spell damage by 10% while in stealth ( no other class has anything comparable)
shadow cloak - instantly go invisible and wipe 4 negative effects on you (spammable to death. no other class has anything comparable. invisibility pot is NOT spammable.
Path of darkness - major speed boost with damage included. (no other class has anything comparable. retreating maneuver is removed as soon as you attack anything and Sorcs have a major penalty for bolt escape.)*correction here- sorcs do have something a little similar to this.
refreshing shadows - increase stamina recovery by 30%. this is insane amounts of recovery. add in the +15% free stam recovery for werewolf and 14% for wood elf. so far we are at 59% and that DOESN'T EVEN include champion points or gear. (no other class has anything close to 30% regen of anything.)
Aspect of terror - Most OP and buggiest CC skill in game. NB's are exploiting this non stop with crit charge to make you unable to CC break. NON STOP. 50% reduced speed for 4 secs AND lowers enemy damage by 15%. (no other class has anything remotely close to this.)
Incapacitating strike ultimate - spinning attack that causes damage THEN gives a 20% damage boost to target AND reduced their healing by 30% AND if the NB's health is lower then target, target is stunned for 3 secs. ALL OF THIS FOR THE PRICE OF 50 ULTIMATE. 50. ULTIMATE. (No other class is even remotely close to this)
Couple all of this with the fact that
1. a dodge roll gives 100% dodge chance for a few secs. dodge rolls cost stamina. stamina that NB's are dishing out at insane amounts.
2. Weapon damage can be stacked to incredible amounts. since Nb's have all that stamina recovery its the only thing they are missing.
3. attacking from stealth gives 100% crit chance. "oh....100% crit in stealth you say? and I can spam a skill that puts me in stealth? 100% crit chance on my 3k weapon damage thats buffed with stealth? well....."
4. most of the NB attacks are checked by armor. 7/7 heavy armor barely gets you 22k armor. NB's surprise attack reduces your armor by 8k. thats without any enchants. Theres no real mitigation for their damage.
lets review -
super stamina regen - check
massive weapon damage stacking as a result - check
getting to wear the armor that gives me huge dps AND max mitigation against spell damage AND BEST passives - check
infinite roll dodge giving me 100% dodge chance - check

ability to vanish AND be spammable - check

Farorin✭✭✭✭✭We are no longer underpowered, but we are most certainly not overpowered. I don't know about others but if I take like a few good hits, I die pretty consistently, my only hope is to jump in, and jump out super quick, or stay at range. Even then, if the enemy has all the shields and defensive spells or whatever up, I cannot take them out without some help or the element of surprise (even with surprise it is not a sure thing, just puts more odds in my favour) but that's okay, Stamina NBs are finally playing how they are supposed to, using stealth and mobility to their advantage, and sucking at trading blow for blow (unless you are a magicka NB going sword and board, then it's a different ball game).
In short, NBs are not OP, they have their weaknesses, and if people are a bit more careful to not get caught be surprise when traveling alone, that helps a lot.
I can take out NBs on my alts, and other people kill me on my main/NB, but hey, dying is the nature of the game. Just because NB don't suck anymore doesn't mean they are OP. I don't Cry that DKs are OP just because I have trouble fighting them and almost consistently lose against them with my NB.8 -

I managed to take out a VR8 nightblade with the kind of build described by the OP 1v1 after he ambushed me from stealth in the middle of nowhere in Cyrodiil. I mainly used talons and then shield charged him to death. Took a little while but proves they're not OP.2 -
glak✭✭✭Talking strictly about Stamina NBs spec'd for burst and dodge and wearing magicka build negation armor (a.k.a. nirnhoned).
The real reason is 2H burst DPS can be built roughly half more powerful than Destro burst DPS without taking nirnhoned armor into account. In Cyrodiil, stamina burst and nirnhoned armor rule.
NB is the best class for Stamina builds due to stam recovery passive and damage/crit passives.RinaldoGandolphi wrote: »

That whole half second you can't see them? Unless of course you are referring to invis pots, then in that case, all classes can use em.vanish
FYI: Invis Pot > Cloak
Concealed weapon (only in stealth) and twisting path are the only things that make a nightblade faster that other classes don't have access to.super speed
Once again, any class can build this way.3k stamina regen to dodge indefinitely for 100% dodge mitigation
If in anyway your post was serious, I suggest you get a working knowledge of all classes and their capabilities. Stop thinking that DK=Tank, Templar= healer, Sorc= ranged DPS, and NB= that guy that killed me from stealth.

Every class has 100% crit from stealth.
Every class can wear medium armor.
Every class can build for high regen.
Every class has access to Major Expedition (super speed).
So yes, the only things on your list that were NB-specific were Fear and Cloak.5 -
