I was initially excited when I saw some potion-related enchants, among others, getting fixed to scale off of glyph quality and level. Maybe this was behind the now virutally pointless enchants that I used to love pre-1.6? Unfortunately, as /u/DragoneerFA posted on the ESO subreddit, it looks like potion duration and speed are still very underwhelming. To quote DragoneerFA:
Potion Duration @ VR14:
- Ta: 3s
- Jejota: 3.1s
- Denata: 3.2s
- Rekuta: 3.3s
- Kuta: 3.4s
Potion Speed @ VR14:
- 5s Cooldown Reduction for all glyphs (zero change in enchantment quality).
A whopping 0.4 second difference between white and gold quality glyphs toward an enchant that pales in usefulness to Medicinal Use passive. Potion Speed vvalue remains constant no matter the tier; to be fair, it's been like this since launch, but given the 50% increase to potion cooldown with 1.6 (
among many other changes), it would be nice if higher quality glyphs might now offer a slightly better cooldown (especially for those of us that have passives tied to potion use, **ahem** Argonians and NBs). Given the long durations of potion effects now since they were overhauled in 1.6, having faster potion use helps most with burst healing, something that is drastically needed in Cyrodiil these days, especially for those who don't have Vigor (and don't want to wait 3 months for it's rank to be lowered), use Resto Staff, or lack good class burst self-heals (mainly Sorc and NB).
