Need Confirmation on texture bug -> faulty GPU or Z-Fighting in Daggerfall?

Hi,

i play at DEFAULT-Settings (ingame) and DEFAULT-Settings (Nvidia driver 350.12).

Specs:

Windows 8.1
Nvidia MSI GTX 970 4GB gaming 4g
Nvidia driver 350.12
Xeon E3-1231V3
8GB DDR3-1600-RAM

I encountered repeating problem in ESO with some textures. This problem is NOT random and occurs at fixed locations.
Textures show uggly artifacts and flicker, if you watch them from far distances. A possible explaination might be Z-Fighting - in this case other people should have this problems as well, because the cause is two objects that are placed so close togheter that they almos overlap (which theyll do if u get far away <-> Z-Buffer-Problem). It should be reproduceable, at leats for Nvidia-Users.

If thats not the reason, i might have a problem with my GPU.

Look at the Video (windows of the Church and the tiny, wooden beams later at the house)

    Ok,

I can easily see in my game exactly what you see in the church windows.

There is a glass reflection on the windows in the church. They do reflect something, maybe mountains, and the surface reflection in this game is not perfect. It is sometimes very very wrong. This could be a case where all you are seeing is the light reflection changing as you move the mouse around. This reflection hides some of the detail of the window at a distance. If you get up close to the church, you can see this reflection change as the camera moves. The reason I suggest this is that it largely goes away in 1st person.

The wooden beams are a problem on all of the buildings in Daggerfall with beams like that. I don't know enough about what they are doing with the buildings to make a guess. Some of those beams look like they could be decals. They are also in an area of high contrast. With AA turned off, those beams wiggle around like a baby having a diaper change.

    Thanks for your confirmation.

I dont think its a reflection bug - but it should go away if reflections are turned of, shouldn it?
Just tested it and turned off reflections.

The results: No change at all.

Its specific for almost overlapping objects causing those problems when youre far away - and its specific that the flickering disappears when you are apporaching the affected objects.

Look at this video from another guy (Battle field 4). There are uggly textures, that go away as closer he is moving. Still i am not sure, if TESO is suffering from this cause (z-fighting). It is just speculation. May be devs can have a look into that, dependent on how many users got this problem. So i would like to hear more statements of other users. It's easy to reproduce and takes little time to check. Is an AMD-GPU displaying those glitches too?
