The gold one is the according to ZOS on an ESO Live show the rarest drop in the game.

The pages are not too rare and can be found with ease by running around Dwemer ruins searching the pots and containers. The hardest part about completing the set is normally finding the pages you're missing over the ones you already know.

I have four active characters, two at VR1 (one with MQ completed and one just about to complete it), one at L45 and one at L8. I have found a grand total of 1 (one) Dwemer motif page :/

The pages like Turelus said aren't hard to find. I usually find at least one when I go through and check all the urns in a dwemer ruin.

WOW, what did you do to *** off the RNG gods? I've found dozens doing frequent farming runs, and even a few on my alts just questing. Consider a trip to Ireland to kiss the Blarney stone.

Dunno - must've pissed of something...

I never "farm" any area and don't go out of my way to find dwemer areas, but I run into quite a few during normal questing and my play style is to always open anything I can "loot, shoot or electrocute".

I suspect that I have found myself on the far left of the bell curve for dwemer pages. The biggest problem with all pure RNG based loot systems is that with enough players in the population, some (small %) of them are almost guaranteed to find themselves in that unhappy situation :(

I've always been of the opinion that a well designed loot game would use some form of heuristic RNG, whereby it gradually ramps up the drop rate for those that get a run of rotten luck and then resets it to base when a drop occurs. If done correctly, this would have the effect of removing the far left of the bell curve while leaving the rest of it as-is.
