A positive feedback!

Hello everybody! As it is natural for us to complain when we don't like or disagree with something, I believe it should also be natural to mention when we are satisfied, from time to time. I am here to share some positive energy and thoughts with you, about the game. I am here, to give a positive feedback.

I am satisfied, because the customer support does not offer cookie cutter answers, but they are real people who deal with every support request as a unique and personal situation.

I am satisfied because ever since the release of the game, I see real effort and improvements. I can now say that I do feel like I am playing an Elder Scrolls game.

I am satisfied because the majority of the community is welcoming, kind and supportive.

I am satisfied because the game is rich and deep in every aspect (to some more than others, perhaps). Graphics, colours, music, atmosphere, ambience, world, quests, classes, pvp, pve, system design and many more.

I am satisfied because the developers try their best to keep a close relationship with the community ( up to the point that professionalism allows it, of course).

I am satisfied because I see GM forum activity. ( They watch over us, people :open_mouth: )

I am satisfied because even when the game went F2P and most of us had our concerns, I believe that at the end we were not let down. The game experience is still as it used be, so far, without the Crown Store transforming the game into a "keep-bying-to-play" monstrosity. ( I really hope it will stay like this in the future, with the introduction of DLC, expansions etc.)

I am satisfied because I see the Devs. showing care for what they have created and they actively do their best to protect it.

I am satisfied because there is RP around

Finally, I am satisfied because this game and its people make me happy. What else could somebody ask?

At this point I have to say that, obviously, this is but the opinion of an individual and it certainly does not reflect the opinion of everybody. I strongly believe that all of us, as a community, must do our best to keep the standards high. Let us not be insulting and negative, but let us be encouraging and supportive, when we express ourselves. Whether we agree or disagree between each other or with the Devs. Let us remember that the ESO community is a but a small social system, and the input we offer to this system will affect us all, on one way or another, sooner or later.

Peace! Catch you all in Tamriel!

    you must be new here,

what game are you palying? not to be mean, but simply put, they have lied to the player base A LOT, they have clearly screwed us over many times for profit, and have been basically ignoring adding content for the past year.

You never see devs in-game, and you almost never see them on the forums. the only time them or a moderator does something it tends to be well, moderating and getting rid of their posts, or answering small time questions that are really easy to answer, rarely particpating in dsicussion of anything actually big.

awesome... good job focusing on the positive. I'm unable to do this as much as I'd like. Especially given what @PKMN12 said which may be a bit extreme is still mostly true.

I must have vastly different standards or you simply haven't been around long enough to know better. I give ZOS hell for NOT doing nearly everything you've cited as personally satisfactory to you.

    • customer support offers cookie cutter answers, and often doesn't have anything but creative ways to say "we're looking into it" or "we don't know" or "it's coming soon" etc.

    • ever since the release of the game, I see NO real effort nor improvements. I don't for a moment feel like I am playing an Elder Scrolls game.

    • the majority of the community is welcoming, kind and supportive of ESO, but has nothing but frustration, venom, and distain for Zenimax

    • the game is neither rich nor deep in any aspect (to some more than others, perhaps). Graphics, colours, music, atmosphere, ambience, world, quests, classes, pvp, pve, system design and many more are on par for a 5 year old game, with no innovations and actual regressions from modern game design.

    • the developers avoid a close relationship with the community, never answering questions directly, and not giving community managers enough if any information to answer the questions on their behalf.

    • I see GM forum activity most frequently just moderating posts for MALICIOUS CONSPIRACY or other CODE OF CONDUCT violations. Relegating the ACTUAL conversation about ESO to YouTube or third party ESO unofficial forums.

    • when the game went B2P and most of us had our concerns, we were totally let down. The game experience is still as it used be, so far, which is a bugged riddled, lag fest with virtually no consideration for balanced gameplay in mind. Without the Crown Store transforming the game into a "keep-bying-to-play" monstrosity, they have adopted a business model that neither sells a service (subscription fee) nor a product (no game extending content being sold), which is possibly the stupidest move I've ever seen a company make since the failure of APB.

    • I never see the Devs. showing care for what they have created, as a matter of fact I only notice the ones that have left likely due to wanting to be done with Zenimax and the poor quality standard that name represents (Mr. Nick Konkle for example now is working for a company that kicks ass and takes names, Riot, where a developer of his calibre belongs).

As for RP and the community, I'd have to say those are subjective, but nice in my opinion as well. The community hates ZOS, pretty much across the board, on pretty much every metric one can be mad, but we all seem to hate on them because we love ESO, and know it deserves much better than ZOS's efforts. It's important to note that no matter how bad the game mechanics are, or how little content ZOS adds, or how imbalanced the game is, the RP heavy players will be here long after the rest of us are fed up and long gone. They're the true unassailable die hard fans and if ZOS caters to only one group of players they should cater to them. I will totally write the studio off, and boycott their future products until I see amazing review scores, but a player that's mainly RP will be here till they turn the server off, very dedicated folk them RPers.

Not to rain on your parade, but I question how informed your position is.
