To help fix population imbalances and buff campaigns, would it be possible to scale the strength of NPC guards and keep walls depending on how many keeps, resources, and scrolls an alliance has?
For example, if EP owns 75% of the maps and all but 1 scroll, their guards and walls will basically collapse when bugs land on them, making it significantly easier to begin taking back the map and significantly harder to maintain the map. Conversely, AD and DC would find that their last two keeps or so scaled up in strength, making it easier to hold onto them.
The advantage here is that owning large portions of the map would still be incentivized because that would strengthen the players themselves, even as it weakens their guards and walls.
I imagine this isn't possible with the technology or that it's already been thought of and thrown out, but I figured it'd be good to through it out there just in case.
