Just does not make sense. If it costs 100 and I have 400 I should be able to use it 4 times or be able to switch to my other and use it. Guess it is just the way it is.
If an ultimate costs 100 and I have 400 saved up why when I use it does it use all available ultimate?
Roll a sorc and use Overload... it's the only ultimate I know off that uses all of your ult points because it's a toggle until you run out.
Pretty much this.Dagoth_Rac wrote: »If an ultimate costs 100 and I have 400 saved up why when I use it does it use all available ultimate?
Because they are specifically designed to not be spammed. If you could cast Dawnbreaker 10 times in a row or Meteor 5 times in a row, you would wreck everything in sight. So they would have to nerf ultimate abilities drastically if you could just cast them over and over with no pause. And if they nerfed them, they would not be very "ultimate"!

Deathstroke scales based on the extra Ultimate you have

Nope. That is old.

Absolutely it makes sense. It means that you can use your ultimate more frequently because it takes less time to build it up until it's ready for use.Moonshadow66 wrote: »What about the Sorcerer passive "Power Stone" (Daedric Summon skill line), which reduces the cost of ultimate abilities by x%? Does this even make sense then? After seeing this thread, I'm not so sure anymore..

That's a very good way of putting it!Dagoth_Rac wrote: »You might look at ultimate costs as an indirect cooldown. So lowered ultimate cost means shorter cooldown.
