@ZoS why can I not buy character slots?

I have two accounts to be able to play all my RP plot alts. I would fill both accounts up with character slots if I could, TAKE MY MONEY ZOS!

I would like more slots, as most Elder Scrolls game I always wonder what it's like to play another character and make him different from the rest.

I figured the 8 slots nicely played into "2 characters of every class" mentality that I felt made sense, especially if you have a "stamina" and "magicka" build for each class (of course, my main is a "health" build tank, so there goes that theory...)

Some more food for thought....Those of us that RP have spent a lot of time unlocking dyes to paint our clothes....forcing us to purchase a second account which doesn't have access to those colors is a slap in the face. It's like I play your game, I interact with the community, I have subbed the entire time since release and purchased additional crowns but I cannot have a 9th character and have access to my dyes, purchased cosmetics etc....No I don't wanna grind all the dye unlock achievements a second time....would you want too? Please sell us extra slots and take our money!

Actually, I would not go above the 4 mules I have now, I would just use the extra slots to make other characters to play.

I thought my cousin was joking when he said that there was no way to buy more character slots in this game. Frankly, I couldn't believe that a game would pass up on the opportunity to increase revenue in such an easy manner as allowing players to buy slots.

This has got to be in the works, I'm sure! There's no way a company would ignore such as easy revenue stream in their game...would they?!

As to the bold part, depending on how their database tables are set up it could either be very easy, or virtually impossible to add character slots to an account.

IF we get to buy Chatacter Slots it won't be until after Console releases. Why? Because of people like me. I'm going to play on console and pc. If they allow me to purchase the extra slots now, before the console copy, both my pc and console accounts will have the slots. If they wait until after console copy I will have to buy the slots twice if I want that on both accounts.

I hope you're right, as that's one sensible reason as to why it's not already available.

Otherwise, if it weren't for that reasoning, I couldn't help but wonder who the idiot is over at Zen that made the executive decision not to offer a means for players to purchase extra character slots. Seems like easy money to me, but what do I know!

But then again, I have a PC and a PS4 and have no intention of purchasing the game on my PS4. I'd much rather play the game on my PC that runs circles around my PS4.

I guess I am paying to win then since I have 3 accounts (4 counting my wife's). Buying extra character slots is no different then buying extra accounts as far as "P2W" is concerned. There's no reason not to let players have the option to buy more Character Slots since we can buy extra accounts already. Nobody should be put out by it either.

I'm all for character slots, but I would prefer for them to have a limit of some sort to combat bots. Like only allow 1 to 2 slots to be bought per day or put a hard cap on how many extra character slots you can have (say 10 to 15?).

I would also appreciate being able to buy additional slots. Because of the limitations on inventory, most players are forced to create 'mules'... but then you run into the situation where you have mules but no space for new characters. I'd prefer to have more slots to create more characters since I enjoy leveling- but have four slots taken up by mules just so I don't have to continuously re-craft gear or buy jewelry, etc. for new characters.

Yes please, with cherry on top! Let me give you money ZOS for more character slots. In GW2 I spend most of the money in their store on character slots, I love alts!
