Tsun's Anvil NA/EP [Heavy RP]
“It is time for Nords to learn the truth. Eternal life can be theirs, without the need to spend an entire mortal life in vain pursuit of something completely unattainable. Introduction:
What is a warrior? Is it a profession? Is it a title? A warrior is more than these. Anyone can be placed among the ranks of their lord and given a sword to defend themselves, but warriors cannot be made; they are born. They have in themselves a hunger that they can never satiate, an internal conflagration that will never quench. For those few tormented souls there can only be one way path; the path of Tsun!
We are a band of these warriors. We fight to earn our place in Sovngarde. When we die we will face Tsun, in life we fight to become worthy of that meeting. We must test ourselves as we will be tested by the master of trials. We place ourselves on Tsun’s Anvil to hammer out our weaknesses so that we may live and die as true warriors!
What we do:
There is no political interest in Tsun’s Anvil. This is not a PVP guild. Tsun’s Anvil is a guild for people that want to fight and kill. We do not limit ourselves to fighting one specific thing. If it needs killing; we kill it (the Dean Winchesters of ESO). Join us for IC dungeon crawling, anchor smashing, monster throttling fun! All guild events are followed by a trip to the tavern to recount the day’s events and drink to the “fortunate fallen”. There is a large emphasis on character interaction, and development. Everyone is given the opportunity to request control over a meeting and use it to tell a story they have created, or so they can involve the guild in significant character development. When a person leads the guild meet it is their plotline, their time to really let everyone know who they are, and what made/makes them that way. It’s a lot of fun and creates a depth, and unity that would be lacking otherwise. To us RPing is more than “talking IC” we want to know all the details of that backstory you’ve spent so much time on!
Would I be a good fit?
If you are easily offended or are playing a character who is put off by a bit of debauchery this is likely not the place for you. If you believe that life is wasted if not being pushed to its limits then you have found a home. If you believe glory and brotherhood are the most important aspects of existence then you will love it here. If you love smashing faces and pounding ale you’ll fit right in. Character flaws are encouraged, but not necessary. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been doing RP for seven years or seven minutes; if you have an imagination, and a desire to interact as your’ character you are welcome here.
Who can join?
Any Nord who wishes to answer the call of Tsun is welcome. If you’re playing a character that is not a Nord, but still has the same ideals, and lust for glory we will setup an interview. We will ask you to explain why someone who cannot enter Sovngarde wants to join a band of warriors solely focused on walking its halls. If you love punching holes in faces that much, and you’re a good fit for our RP you will be granted membership.

These ranks are not militaristic. They serve more as titles that represent your’ accomplishments, and longevity inside the guild. None are better than the other or have more power than the other. This is a brotherhood, all are equal.

4) No trolling, meta-gaming, or Godmodding.
5) If you’re playing out a character flaw please give people a heads up.
Example: If your character is a budding curmudgeon and behaving as such we would be inclined to think you’re violating rules 1,2, and 3, however if you let people know before hand we would smile to ourselves saying “that incorrigible curmudgeon; there he goes again”.
5.5) If you do have a character flaw please play it out in a way that doesn’t stunt the RP progression.
Example: Your’ budding curmudgeon refuses to Chriss Angel his grumpy butt onto that rock to grab the antidote to the poison AOE that just wrecked us.
6) It isn’t so much a rule as it is a request. This is a mature RP guild, not an ERP guild. If you have to RP any type of “encounter” please do it in a whisper...not in the guild chat.
