Bal Foyen bug for me?!

I came back onto my character and was last in Bal Foyen, i dont remember if i gave my quest to Captain Rana or not but I've done some of the quest there and now i dont know what to do...i cant findthe next quest. It seems like captain rana was meant to give me a quest to go to the fort, if i remember correctly but when i speak to her she doesn't give it.
There's a difference between knowing the path and walking the path.
