Ancient Rome

To the point:
I have an idea of some let’s say feature. I think it would be nice to have an one common area for all alliances, where you could e.g. trade with people from other factions, place your own personal store and do some other stuff like dueling (if it will be ever implemented) maybe even duel arena or coliseum (not for rewards, just for training, fun and glory, eventually events). Maybe you all have some ideas what other things could we do in place like this.
It could be placed (just an example) in Imperial City, and the owning alliance would have e.g. no taxes from sales, guild traders (this would be the best places, because of wide access of all factions, and only guilds that had major impact on taking over Imperial City would have access to them, so not only the biggest trading guilds would have access to best spots, but also smaller PvP oriented guilds), access to some districts with slightly better NPC stores, maybe something like imperial crafting station with new set or crafting stations allowing to craft in some special styles.
Imho it would be nice to have city like ancient Rome, where all factions could meet despite of differences between them.

Any thoughts?
Say no to Toxic Casuals!
I am doing my best, but I am not a native speaker, sorry.

"Difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including A Realm Reborn-tier overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver&Gold as a "you think you do but you don't"-tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game." - @AlexanderDeLarge

Imp city is currently under the control of Molag Ball and his minions, its gonna be one big pvp/pve-esque dungeon/battlefield, and its comming SoonTM

I would think that a pirate island, or other significant outlaw hideout, would be more ideal for things like this. We'd need some place more neutral than the Imperial City.

Each faction could receive a portal that opens to a copy of the Imperial City.
Deserted and free from the war or Molag Bal this "copy" would be an imitation.
I imagine it similar to Limbo, from DmC. Floating rubble and other effects from the real city could be seen.

Each Alliance could receive a marketplace to buy/ sell items. You would be able to buy from other Alliance Markets but only sell in your own, similar to guild shops.

They could also set up small-scale PvP (1v1 to 4v4) in an instanced Colosseum.
Only your fight would be shown here, you would not see other fights. Other players could watch a random match or join by using one of the participating players names/ usernames.

Player housing, if implemented, could also be done in this Imperial City imitation.
As it is a magical copy, and not the real deal, it would be very believable to allow players to be walking in to the same door for different houses. They would function as doorways/ portals to your house, detached into their own personal plane.

Technically, we already have places in the game that could work, overseen by members of factionless guilds. Namely, Eyevea and the Earthforge. Both could be expanded to contain sections where members of each faction could meet and not be allowed to kill each other.

I also recommend changing your title to what it is:
"Neutral Hub - A Trading/ Dueling Center for ALL Alliances" or something similar.
I'm not that great at catchy titles, so I wouldn't actually use that. Just something more accurate that will draw attention and make it clear what you're asking for.
I would also recommend editing the original post, space things out and add detail.
Right now? That wall of text is unsightly, but short enough to still be readable.

This and OP are awesome ideas... but I'm afraid this is not going to happen and it's sad because it is AWESOME.

I like the idea of having the opposite of Cyrodiil. A peaceful place away from the war which each alliance can come to for trade etc.. homes even. Could lead to a whole story line.... a group fighting for an alliance of the alliances to work towards peace. Which never happens.... but that is beside the point.

For dueling, have an arena which has gambling built into it. So players can put up an item to risk in a duel. No restrictions.. whatever the player wants to risk. Maybe others can watch and make bets on each match also.

Agreed, this would make a lot more sense.

A pity they failed doing this for the place that'd make the most sense - coldharbour and craglorn, in an "warring factions band together to fight a greater threat" way...
