Can someone please explain to me the difference between these weapons?
When I go to the crafting station to deconstruct - there is a hammer and a maul but weapons in my inventory are named maces.
Have I just not found hammers and mauls as yet - am I too low level (14)?

Thanks in advance for your help ; )
I apologize if this is in the wrong forum.

Mauls are two-handed, mace are one-handed. Hammer, I think is weapon type, lime sword and axe

That's correct. In the blacksmith UI they refer to the weapon type of "Hammer", and all the weapons you create with it (different styles) are called a mace in the tool tip.

But I think that may be an error because I thought a mace was any type of club style weapon, so a hammer would be a type of mace?

actualy, the whole thing is wrong :P

Mauls are two-handed hammers, they do not have mace-heads like a lot of them do in-game at all

Maces and hammers are two completely different types of weapon, but both use blunt-force trauma as their main way of doing damage to a person. Maces are what are in-game, hammers....are hammers.
