So me and a friend of mine, have done 100+ normal DSA runs, and have completed vet DSA as well. We both just level up a new charavter, a dd sorc. Its VR12 and use vr10 food buff, and use the best jewlery, armor and weapon one can use as vr12, all epic. Still no one wants a a vr12 in their team for a normal DSA run, even when we can prove by good communication, loot and gear, achievement and 200 champion points, that this will be a quick 1 hour run with no deaths.

Still we get answer: sry vr14 only.

You really dont know the difference between vr12 and vr14, do you?

Hey, it's a good filter for you. Chances are you would probably wipe with players that ignorant anyways.

Welcome to endgame pve in MMO's, especially with pugs.

What I love is that I got kicked from a group for City of Ash recently because before the run I said it had been a while since I ran it and I did not have the fights memorized. Just give up on running with pugs, stay with guilds, or resign yourself to the fact that people are stupid.

Around 200 DPS. If you have best possible gear. For a normal run it doesn't matter. Ppl just wanna minimize factors that causes to fail. But a good geared vr12 shouldn't be a problem.

He got the dragonstar arena achievement in vr9, and another friend of mine got it in vr6.
If they know what they are doing, no problem at all.

Doesn't matter if it is or it isn't. These types of people want to rush through and roflstomp everything as quickly as possible, and they get so obsessed with doing that that they start believing anything less than perfect means instant failure. It's the reason why games with gearscores end up with people making nearly highest possible score only groups for content that barely even requires a random assortment of common dropped gear well below the maximum level.

If they did happen to invite you to the group and the group failed or just didn't roflstomp something, you'd be the first one blamed anyway. I PUG a lot in many different MMOs and I see it in all of them nearly each and every time. What's kind of funny is the person who dies the most is usually the loudest about blaming the "under-performer", even when that under-performer is ranking first or second on the meters.

Correction: some people suck, and that makes PUGs a hit or miss situation. Sometimes you'll have awesome experiences, sometimes terrible. Grouping with actual friends or guildies is preferred

i had a similar experience with vet fungal grotto. some one acted like an a** to me all because we wiped on the giant spider daedra a few times(they wanted to use a bug to beat the boss btw, not actually fight her,

) I psted one of them about it, and he basically told me "because you are random, we assume you are bad. nothing personal"

you had NO idea how much I wanted to cuss that person out.

if you ever hear about someone in a vet dungeon group being cussed out, chances are it was me cussing them out:/ I have about had it with these condescending and elitist pieces of garbage. if they dont want me in, they need to tell me "no" beforehand, not invite me then give me a bad attitude all because we wiped a few times.

people expect perfect runs nearly every time, and this is a huge reason why lots of people act like this. It a VETERAN DUNGEON. IT WILL BE HARD FOR MOST PEOPLE.

the same can be said for trials even. some people just expect too much, then whine when their unrealistic expectations come crashing down.

lol, listen to me. telling you to ignore them, then me saying i intend to cuss one of them out one day. lol.

Just search zonechat for others VR12´s, hell we even take VR1´s on the gold daily VR12 when one of us is missing. Or teach other low vets to do it. Spices it up as all the dungeon have been nerfed to oblivion...
