POTION OF SPEED ITEM LINK FORCE CRASHING GAME

So yea, people have been spamming this link to a "Legendary" item that is called Potion of Speed; what it does is force crash your game. So I know ZOS neglects a lot of stuff in the game, but are they really going to allow this type of behavior to run wild throughout their game? Phoenix Rising has reported every and all people using the link.

Any response from ZOS or silence yet again?

What's funny are the pricks who are defending the troll as if there is some sort of controversy over it. There is no point in linking this item except to crash the people who are curious and click it. I've reported every single person I've seen do it and I'm hoping that ZOS actually does something about it besides fix it. Players with malicious intent like this aren't people I want to continue playing with.

I can confirm I posted in a thread yesterday and that thread was later moved to a 'safe place'.

@ZOS_AlanG messaged me and explained this was to stop information getting out and also said the matter had been escalated

Edit:- It was actually described as a 'private place'

Got hit with it today in Craglorn. Now I know to use the report button instead of clicking on [Potion of Speed].

I've been reporting every single person who is linking it. If ZOS decides to just fix it without making an example of the turds doing it, this begins the degradation of our community. I personally do not plan on continuing to play if the community is reduced to prepubescent creeps who think griefing people who just want to play a game is some sort of "joke".

ZOS will just tell you to put the person on ignore and do nothing about the player in question, I know from personal experience

For testing purpose, yeah right, you could have used it in guild or even spatial if for some unknown reason you felt the need to "test" it. I hope every single player who used it in zone gets atleast suspension, including you mister tester.

From what I've seen from ZOS, they are quick to enforce their "community vision" on the forums, but couldn't care less about what happens ingame. This may also be a bug, but it's clearly a few people abusing a game mechanic to deliberately grief other players. This shouldn't be a difficult call.

Because a large portion of the PVP player base are punks. They could careless about the health of this game and from the start, they have exploited and cheated their way into the top rankings to win. The state of PvP in this game is the product of unregulated moderation of players that do these types of things because they find it amusing. Its sad really.
