Any graphical difference between the Xbox & PS4 versions?

I could be wrong, but the PS4 gameplay videos seem to look slightly better than those on the xbox as far as graphics go.

I'd rest assured it'll look the same across the board. Maybe the video quality itself is the difference you're seeing, ESO doesn't use any high end "Next Gen" rendering. It's all pretty low tech, and both consoles should be able to run it seamlessly, provided the software is optimised well enough.

If your watching Videos, then it is almost impossible to tell the exact differences. Too many variables in the video capture to use one as a baseline. And, it can even be difficult to tell the differences unless you play both consoles on the same TV to see any differences.

Usually they are each better than the other (graphically) in just very few areas, then pretty much the same the rest.

If you want graphical superiority then always choose PC. However, XB1 and PS4 seem to look good enough (I got to play XB1 beta and it was nice..the controller works great >>> although I'm not a fan of the PS4 controller<<<).

TL;DR It doesn't matter..both are pretty similar and if you want the best graphics then it's not console (imo when graphics are fairly similar then who cares?). /endthread

They are the same according to me and a friends eyes but realize Xbox game clips are drastically downgraded. Maybe ps4 too
Me and my friend feel they look the same but only ZOS knows right now

Generally 'most' games look better on PS4 since PS4 has more games running on 1080P while xbox has some running on 900P

In ESO's case though they are 1080P on both consoles. Eso doesn't really require that much power so it can run on 1080P with 30 FPS.

That said I believe the view distance is a tad lower then the maximum setting available on PC.

I'm also pretty sure that the console version might be much better optimized then the PC version.

In the streams I watched on twitch the Xbox looked better than the PS4. It seemed as though the PS4 was more washed out. Perhaps it was just bad streaming,

Yeah none of the streams looked as good as the real thing. Even professional streams that get 100k+ viewers don't look 100% as good as the real game would. If you set your PC settings to high and figured out a way to cap your fps at 30, that is essentially what we're getting on console. It looks pretty good, and it held up well in 30-40 person battles.
