Trade board/menu idea

I really enjoy ESO's trade system. I like that there is no global auction house, but I think that the trade system needs a little more tweaking to work better.

First, make it easier to reach guild traders. This could be done with a trade menu (you know an icon like the alliance war menu, inventory, collectibles, etc.) that can be clicked on to see a list of the ESO zones and a list of all the guild traders within each zone. Guild traders would be listed and also which Guild is running that particular kiosk. Another thing that could be implemented at each guild trader kiosk is a rating system that players could voluntarily use to rate the guild kiosk. Also, even a spot for a small text review that people can use and scroll through. With the trade menu players could right click on that guild trader to go to that area (exceptions being that if you are not VR level or have not been that zone-- cause there are some people who enter the VR levels without being VR rank-- then you cannot port there) Instead of charging ever increasing gold rates for fast travel, just charge a flat rate of say 100g because traders will obviously do some traveling and you don't want gold cost to be very prohibitive.

Next, allow players who are not part of trade guilds to be able to post there items for sale in other guild stores at the guild traders. Along with the rating system this feature will provide a good way for players to get there goods to market because frankly a lot of really good trading guilds are full and cannot accept more members. Successful trading guilds that are very good try to create spinoff guilds i.e Ethereal Traders Union, Ethereal Traders Union II, etc., but the knockoff guilds are not as good as the original trading guilds most of the time. If players are allowed to post their items in other guild store there will be more competition and more quantity and variety of gear and crafting materials. A huge benefit of being part of a trade guild would be that you don't have to pay the guild in order to list your items (I realize that now there is a posting fee and a house cut, but this is really just a gold sink) Guilds should get compensation for outside players that post items on their guild store and it should be a small percentage of gold or a flat rate and the charge should be credited to the guilds bank.

Right now, there is no fluid means of generating capital in the guild bank, a lot of guilds do run successful raffles and other gimmicky prize drawings to generate revenue, but a guild should have other revenue generating tools at its disposal.

Cosmetically, I think it would be cool if their were trade boards in each major city, maybe integrate these into the crafting writ boards, that would display the trader options across Tamriel and then there would be a collection of wagons around the trade board that could take you to these different guild traders. These trade transportation centers might even be able to be bid upon and owned by a guild so that every time a player utilizes the trade hub the guild gets like a 1g kickback, also it would be for guild pride and achievements to own one of these. Alternatively, the trading wagon hubs could be put under the direction of the Dragonstar Trading Company or something lore friendly like that.

I like the fact that ESO has a guild driven economy, there is a lot of pride associated with winning the bid on a guild trader week in and week out, but the system definitely needs more expansion and more details added to make the economy a truly rich experience (pun intended)!

    lot of fuss for nothing.

Just give us an auction house already.

All of these kiosks and spending countless hours shouting into the wind, all for no reason.
