Have to say I'm very surprised at the lack of screenshots, observations etc from the console beta testers this weekend,

They were told by Zenimax that they aren't under any NDA and encouraged to share with all of us.

Apart from a few twitch streams, there seems to have been almost total silence?

Not just on this forum either.

Not sure what to make of that.

It could be that they are having so much fun, they're too busy to think about us ;) We can only hope.

    Well I've been on this forum and reddit and I've seen hardly a mention.

    A few links would be appreciated.

    I know there's twitch streams, but there's little info being posted on the actual forums, and having to listen to the endless ramblings of most of those doing the streams, it doesn't make happy viewing in my opinion :)

    "when you get to level 15 you can have a second class so if you wanted you could be a healer too"
    "I can be ***, cool" (stupid filter, leader of Germany in world war 2)

    Yeah some of the streams i seen were from people who sign up for the beta last year and have not even play this game on pc other than the beta.

    There was a lot of issues with content and streaming being blocked early on.
    Issues with being locked out of general forums other than beta
    Issues with Xbox uploading I game vids.....

    I have a few up now tho.

    You really thought that someone would download 60GB for a weekend beta?
    Very few people that I know were willing to download the game...

    I'll admit ... I've been playing.

    And inviting all of my friends over to see it in action and get their hands on the controller. The game looks good, for sure. But the fact that the controls are so solid and intuitive for standard console players. Had to kick one friend out of my house at midnight cause he still wanted to play.

    Pretty sure I just sold him an xbox one, too. Destiny couldn't do it, but ESO's beta may have.



    I have been watching reddit and whatnot, and there are posters putting up info. For example, I was wondering if the controller layout would be better or worse than Neverwinters. Better by a large margin. And I love the emote radial menu.

    I have seen some funky feeds on youtube, though. IF they aren't new, they seem to be bitter about what the consoles can do and how solid the experience is versus the PC.

    You can't teach the world the differences between PC and Console gaming. I know I've tried.

    Ruze is a veteran of the PC Beta, lived through the year one drought, survived the buy-to-play conversion, and has stepped foot in the hells known as Craglorn. He mained a nightlbade when nightblades weren't good, and has never worn a robe. He converted from PC during the console betas, and hasn't regretted it a moment since.

    He'd rank ESO:TU (in it's current state) a 4.8 out of 5, loving the game almost entirely.

    This is an multiplayer game. I should be able to log in, join a dungeon, join a battleground, queue for a dolmen or world boss or delve, teleport in, play for 20 minutes, and not worry about getting kicked, failing to join, having perfect voice coms, or being unable to complete content because someone's lagging behind. Group Finder and matchmaking is broken. Take a note from Destiny and build a system that allows from drop-in/drop-out functionality and quick play.

    Its for your own sake. Everyone knows the first to mention his name loses any internet discussion. By censoring it you are protected from losing.
