Crafty Lerisa and the crew she hangs out with are a lot of fun to adventure with. If you talk with her group, they'll come up with some pretty funny stuff.

Stibbons is great to chat, BUT any Khajiit high on skooma is always interesting too.

On a side note, kudos for ZOS for making the conversation context synchronized with other quests. As in, a conversation with NPC of a certain quest could be different depending on the completion another specific quests.

I am a fan of Dringoth, personally. He's got some great lines while you are trying to put his skeleton back together.

But as a one off, there is a random Nord that I came across in Deshaan, who when you speak to him says, "That isn't normal mushroom behavior! I disapprove!"

He just says it with such fervor. It's great.

Would be cool if NPCs in ESO reacted to emotes. There was a guard in WoW in one of the alliance newb zones that would laugh hysterically when you targeted him and /flex. Funny as hell.

I love Cadwell, I dunno if other people have realized but I'm pretty sure he's Don Quixote. Or at least it's Tamrielic version.

Cadwell is one of the few NPC's who's dialogue options I fully explore, just to hear him say all the absurd things he does.

This game could use quite a bit more comic relief though, the NPCs are all so serious.

Venturing into Windhelm is a bit of a hoot.

But agreed, there is a lot of funny dialouge in the game, from Cadwell to Sheogorath, from random partigoers in Windhelm to all the sugared up kitties, from wandering guards to the fighting quibs of dark seducers...
