Sheath 1H weapons on Back?

I noticed when using a synergy that my dual axes were on my characters back during the animation, this was much cooler than the hip location. I would love if they gave the option to sheath 1H weapons on the back (1H+Shield and DW).

Agreed, it would be fun to have more sheathing options for some weapons. I mean, shields, staves and two-handers would be hard to carry any other way but on your back, but everything else... hip sheath or back sheath are viable options for all one-handed weapons and quivers... would be neat if we had a choice in this matter.

And if we had both equipped weapons visible on our characters as well, not just the one currently active!

You do realize it is a VERY bad idea to have a weapon on your back like that. You would more then likely cut your own head off, or somehow hurt your self in someway.

It is also FAR slower to unsheathe as well.

This is a video game, if you want to get technical then tell me how my 2H sword "floats" on my back with nothing indications it is attached in any manner. So of us like this idea, if you do not that is fine, you would opt out of using it.

Particularly while you're taking your shield off your back at the same time.

well first off, i doubt ZOS cares that much......

secondly, what you want is something that is not easy to do, ESPECIALLY after the game is already finished and released. It would basically require you changing the skeletons of the player character and allowing people to have different skeletons, and guess what, not something that is going to happen, especially now that they DO have the console version and the issues that they need to fix.

Back sheaths in real life tend to be a convenient way to carry weapons you have no intention of using. Most swords are to long to conveniently unsheathe over your shoulder without taking far more time then needful to be ready for use. They would almost have to be long knives to be easily manipulated. Don't know feel would rather be able to get my sword out and ready for action quickly without hurting myself. Just my two cents. Neither swords or shields would typical be carried on back unless the battle was something they were not going to be in for a while. Like being in town where keeping weapons and such sheathed would likely be a requirement.
