Yeah not best title for topic I know :p But got question folks maybe someone experienced such thing as well, on my old mail which i was using for beta access to ESO, before game went live, I receive letter:

"Greetings David,
Thank you for participating in our Welcome Back Weekend! We hope you enjoyed your time in Tamriel! and so on bla bla bla"

I didn't participated in this "welcome back weekend", never planned too, also didn't given key (if there was such) to anyone as well as account info, only I have access to mail (I hope so). And question is, everyone receive such mail despites of participating/not, or its just me and makes sense that my email get hacked and i need to change passwords and so on there?

P.S. I'm using other email for live game since pre-order.

    1) Never click a link in an email.
    2) If you think it's legit, go to your account page manually from a new window.
    3) If you think you're at risk, change your password and run anti-virus.
    4) Never click a link in an email.

I got The same for my second beta account back in the days I gave to a friend. I or him didn't even log in :D

But it was a legit email David. Don't you worry. You are smart enough to differ between legit or phishing anyway ;)

There's no saying it was a bad email.
EA had there database hacked and thousands of account info along with email and CC info were taken and used maliciously.
No saying that Zenimax hasn't had it's and lets be honest....very VERY poor security hacked.
I mean a username and password to protect your account in this day and age??? Yeah it probably would take a good hacker about 2 hours to hack this system.
