Is there a good way to get raw data from the game into spreadsheet?

like damage of abilities in real game play with character stats, enemy stats etc... whatever information possible?

Maybe an addon?
some sort of advanced combat log?

I know we don;t have access to other players combat logs and stats or equipment info but what about npc's?

The only information available is from the API. Not sure if that allows logging, although there is a combat log add on that is popular among those who want this kind of information. But that appears to be fight specific.

So, you might want to ping a mod and ask then to move this to the Addons section so those folks can chew on this

Thanks not exactly what I am looking for, it looks liek if I really want it i will have to write it myself...

Need something the basically grabs all stats, skill used name and resulting damage/heals etc.. and the records each instance into individual lines in a database/spreadsheet/xml or some other usable file type.

All I want is an easy way to document & keep updated my characters without doing a spreadsheet myself - name.race,class, attribute distribution, maybe champ points, that sort of thing.
