Are we really looking at the end of 2015 or beginning of 2016 to see any new PVE zones?

They are definitely working on multiple different DLC's (content), although I wouldn't expect it in June/July. Console release is in June so they'll need to work out any bugs etc. with the console before anything new gets added.

I have 4 VR11+ characters now. I cant do another one. I cannot stand craglorn. I was cool with them doing that first for the people who want to group after all this is a MMO. Come on tho its been months and months with nothing for people who are more into what the entire rest of the game is like. Delves, dungeons, landscape quests and world bosses is what I expected. I think I have been more than patient but come on. Next year? I'll be heavily vested in something else before then.

Seeing as they still haven't even worked out the bugs on the PC version after 12 months, if they have to work out bugs on the console release too don't expect that DLC anytime soon

I'm hoping that the console release will boost their revenue enough to start adding new content at a decent pace for once.

No one knows but I guess it will either be lots of DLC´s smacked up at once to make a smashing hit for consol launch wich would do wonders for the whole game (both consol & PC) or it will take a really long time.... if ever.

My best bet would be august, once the console has launched and things have settled with that. Then ZOS can focus on bringing out new content. In the meantime I catch up on achievements and play a bit of AOC again.

If they release new pve content (new dungeons, quests, etc) and it's buggy - people will scream.
If they don't rush the release of new content - people will scream.
I'm working my way through the rest of the Gold quest line. I'm VR13 and have to finish this zone then one more then I am through with the entire Cadwell line.
I'm also working on achievements, dungeon daily pledges, crafting, leveling my skills, getting more shards from other zones, etc.
There is plenty of things to do.
Do I want to see more content? Of course. But I have stuff to keep me busy.

Ive done all the cadwells quests 4 times now. Im not going sit and do pledge runs for a year waiting on them to release new content. There is NOT plenty to do if you've been here since day one.

I wonder if they will just stop patching if they hit 2.0.9 and don't have anything resembling a major patch ready to go for 2.1.0

It's not like a base 10 number, unfortunately. The general patch naming convention would be to go to 2.0.10 next for an incremental update. I realize we've never gotten there before, but I'm afraid we'll have to get used to it.

Fixing issues with the existing content and pushing out the console versions are the main priority at this time. Once this is complete there will be a couple months of making sure everything on console is working. It will not, obviously.
Once everything is stable throughout both PC and console versions they will be able to devote time and resources to adding new content.

    It makes sense.
However anybody with an active subscription is being royally... Well, you know...

    WHAT ARE THEY THINKING?!??

A year of stale content is too much. We've paid for this beta for a year and can't even get content on a decent schedule? All they care about is the crown store and console updates because console players mean tons of micro transactions[/quote]

    Pretty much this.

I don't know why it's OK for games to be released in such a state, much less running for a year like this.

ZOS has crown store crap, console release crap, and PVP crap to deal with, much more of a concern than another PvE zone imo.

If you compare this game to another recent MMO like GW2 (1 year 9 months older than TESO).
GW2 has released 4 new PvP maps, 1 new WvW map, 3+ PvE maps, 2 Living Stories, FIXED there WvW/AvA problems/lag (got rid of culling). This all done in 2 years.

In 1 year more like 2 new PvP maps, 1 new WvW map, 1 new PvE zone, and 1 Living Story, and WvW/AvA problems/lag was fixed.

The only thing GW2 does now is rebalance, rebalance AGAIN and AGAIN. There's really no major BUGS to fix, unlike this game.

As for the gemstore/crownstore, they also made several NEW outfits, armors, pets, hairstyles, facials, etc.

I haven't played this game since start, so its hard to compare, but if someone has played from start they can compare MMO productivity from my data.

**Also note, GW2 was in development since 2007 released 2012, TESO was in development since 2007 as well but released 2014. So both games are relatively the same age if you consider when they both were starting to get designed.

And they are not focus on making a console version. That is the key point and the major difference between the games. The only reason we do not have any content coming out now is because they are they are trying to get the consoles out. Once they do. They are going to bombard us with new content because they said they are going to have dlc packs. So they are probably going to have at least two of them out with plenty of crown store theme stuff to go along with them. They already state there is going to be a major update after the consoles are coming out.
    We also have
    • Orsinium
    • Imperial City
    • Murkmire
    • Clockwork City
    • Mephala's Realm
    • Abah's Landing
    • Theives Guild/Dark Brotherhood
    • Spell crafting in the future
    • and other things they have not mention.

I serious doubt we are going to have to wait until after this year to get new content.
