(Poll) 6 hours every Monday or 8 hours twice a month?

Prior to 1.6 the game was patched maybe once or twice a month. Both the downtimes and the actual patch contents were significant. Every other Monday was a non-patch maintenance that usually lasted only 1-3 hours at most. This was good.

Now I know we all want to see the game be as good as it can be, but since 1.6 it seems we are having a 6+ hour full patch every single Monday. The problem with that is, these "patches" are so small as to be pretty insignificant, leaving many concerns waiting for the next patch.

What I would like is a return to doing less frequent patches that actually do more. Since you have to take the whole thing down and test anyway, I for one am really getting tired of these 6-hour patch Mondays every single week for patch notes I could fit on a napkin.

Do patching less often and handle more critical issues.

Well, these patch notes at least look pretty good compared to the last ones. Fixes for both Templar charge and Eclipse. GG.

I'm not going to even vote on this. They are going to perform maintenance as often as they see fit regardless of how inconvenienced the players are and no amount of threads are going to change that. This is really something we need to just deal with.

uhm...considering all the "THIS GAME IS BROKEN" posts I find it odd that people complain about any maintenance.

FYI: When we started last year with was every Monday and Thursday.....careful what you complain about.

Kind of Ironic that that the maintenance today only took a couple of hours or so.


You can pretty much expect two maintenances a week until the console release.

No. Let them take the server down when they please. But also take the server down again now! I have not finished my real life responsibilities and it isnt fair that people get to play before I do! I wont be home for at least another hour so if you could aim for then it would be appreciated.
