Has anyone tried using one of these?
I have Windows 7 64-bit Ultimate on my computer and figure since it's Microsoft hardware running on a Microsoft operating system, the device should be, well, plug-n-play (since it's USB especially).
Has anyone successfully used one of these controllers?
If so, any hints/tips you can share?
My wife wants to play ESO with me but hates the way the game handles wsad keys in combination with pointing with the mouse to move. I figure if I can get her a controller for $40 and she likes it, my guild will have another healer!(plus it would just be fun having her as a person to run content with).
Thanks

the d-pad is is best used for maps, character sheet, inventory and weapon swap. anything like that.
Left trigger (L2) Block (mouse 2) Right trigger (R2) main attack, hold for power attack (mouse 1) cc breaks interrupts all work the same.
Left analog stick is w, a,s,d. Right is mouse. Ez to set this up in xpadder.
I use xpadders assignments for get two use's out of a few buttons.
Touch pad E on tap, R on hold. the touch pad is a great place for these as it can be press with both thumbs.
L1 hold to sprint, tap plus Left stick to roll. R1 tap for 1 on ability bar, hold for quick item menu. (hard press to use item)
X buttion is 3 on abilty bar on tap and X on key board for synergy on hold (tap for 3rd skill, hold for synergy)
Square 2, Triangle 5, Square 3 on ability bar.
Share button is first person/ third person. Options is ready weapon/ put away weapon.
Left analog stick button (L3) stealth, Right analog stick button (R3) jump
PS bution is T to cycle active quest.
This is a puppet master setup where you dont have to remove your thumbs from the analog sticks to attack/block, roll/sprint, jump, and sneak.
This set up is good for pve/pvp.
