Game Freezing Randomly in Towns?

Never had this happen before, but when in any Capital city my game can someone randomly freeze ever since the Senche Leopard Mount patch kicked in. As a paying subscriber, this is quite annoying. Is this known and being addressed?

Have had this happen 3x cannot recall where I was though...very annoying, did not send ticket.

Neither did I, it is quite annoying I am afraid to go to town because that is the only areas it freezes aside from Mournhold Refuges loading screen that ALWAYS freezes since 1.6 when I try to enter that particular place. I ran two dungeons and did a little PvP last night no problem, but in towns, whether looking for groups or crafting, it will freeze the game. It is not my gaming rig, I can minimize the window and do whatever on my PC, it is only the game.

I have these sorts of problems whenever I go to a highly populated area. Only happened since B2P. The first two weekends I could not play at all on a Saturday night as I just keep getting frozen and kicked out of the game.

I think it is something to do with the number of players in an area and loading up info from those players.

I have mostly been in vet areas since then so hard to tell if things are better or there have just been less players around me.

I absolutely dread going into Mournholds center due to the freezes. Sometimes the game completely freezes and sometimes it takes a minute or so to come back.

I had this happen to me on three occasions. I ran a repair and after the repair it told me it could not identify the patch number and gave me an error code and a link to a video on how to fix it. After following the video instructions the repair ran as it should and I have had no random freezes since. Don't know if that is the same thing you are having but it helped me.

Yeah the GF and I have both had it happen several times in Belkarth or whatever it is called in Craglorn.

Happens pretty frequently to me. There's a few hotspots but too many for me to bother reporting them all.

Often I don't get any error number at all and if I do it is usually error 1.

Yes the launcher is always saying it needs repairing. It starts doing that every other patch pretty much. I just open and shut it enough times until the play button comes up.

I get it all the time after login - I'll be in a city, running from bank to crafting station, trying to sort out my inventory before a day of adventuring. Then the game just freezes.

Seems like @ZoS is just dropping the ball on PC maintenance and only caring for the console versions now. Maintenance for the PC versions should be priority, since we lined @ZoS pockets for a year now.

I have this happens since like a month ago.game freez mostly in towns but sometimes in dungeons too.It "stop responding"when i check the task manager and need to end the task.Is starting to happen like 1 to 2 times per play session and is starting to *** me off very bad.Even tho i love my sub 10% xp(I like to grind CPs) I wont pay a single dime until all this performance issue get fixed.The performance of the game (most important thing of a online game) have gone down the toilet since ESO:TU and ZOS looks like really dont give a ***.Fixing minor bugs and no mention of the big ones ever.Im starting to get annoyed by this game performance to the point im not feeling fun playing it.

Agreed, @ZoS is not taking care to make sure game is stable, they are only worried about throwing more stuff in the Crown Store. They need to figure this out soon or they will be losing many paying players to more STABLE games.

A few times and only just in the past couple of weeks I've had this issue when riding in a town (usually Belkarth) where the game just completely freezes mid-stride and alt-f4 or whatever doesn't work; I have to crash it from task manager. It's different from other crashing problems I've had in the past. Though I've also had the <1> crash to log in a couple times over the same time period.

I haven't bothered putting in a ticket because I know I'll just be told to update drivers, disable add-ons, and restart my router etc.

This has been happening to me as well, and its a new bug for sure. Always when in town and using a merchant or crafter table.

Indeed I believe it is a bug as well, though @ZoS will likely deny it.
